Valentine's day

Am I the only one that thinks Valentine's day is just a rip off? Firstly, restaurants charge you top dollar for food that's mass produced. Then you're asked to pay silly money for roses. Once nice idea was on qed-uk.com that offers free roses when you buy a LCD TV. Do you think I'll get away with it?

I think it's overhyped much more these days, but it's always nice to spoil the one you love.
I try and get her a present every month, so this month I got her some flowers and a balloon. Went through quidco and used some vouchers, it all came to about £22 for roses and a helium balloon. see thoughtful and money minded.:beer:Comping challenge: Target: £120 Won: £85

OH heard a tip on the radio yesterday, which made me smile!
If your loved one is one for a bargain, get them flowers 1 day or 2 after the venet, when they are reduced

Why not buy your loved one something from http://www.oxfamunwrapped.com - gets you brownie points, and most importantly - helps those who need it most.0
