Great Britain will host Slovak Republic in the first round of the 2012 Davis Cup by BNP Paribas, Europe/Africa Group I taking place at Braehead Arena in Glasgow from Friday 10 to Sunday 12 February.
Great Britain was promoted to Zone Group One after winning their three ties in last year’s competition. Andy Murray again led by example by winning all of his matches.
The team, which is expected to feature Murray, James Ward, Colin Fleming and Ross Hutchins, is looking for a repeat performance this time around in both singles and doubles action.

We’re giving away five pairs of tickets to see the AEGON GB Davis Cup Team in action on Sunday 12 February. To enter, please email SponsorshipComms@aegon.co.uk putting ‘Davis Cup tickets’ in the subject line and provide us with your name, preferred email address and contact telephone number.
The free prize draw closes at midnight on Sunday 30 January.
