Help on going abroad

I wonder if anyone can help with this.

I am moving to live and work in Germany for 1 year starting in February. However, as the company has a uk partner i will be paid in £ and into my uk bank account. I will only be coming home once a month to check on my house.

Can i claim my tax/NI back? Or what is the best thing to do?

i think that as you are returning home so often you wont be able to reclaim the tax

Why would you want to reclaim the tax and NI? Are you also paying tax in Germany?

Thats the thing. I'm not sure? Could i end up paying both?

I would be inclined to ask your new employer if they can refer you to someone in the UK partner company who has experience of people who have previously done what you are intending.
