Tesco sell the Mr DVDs at a reasonable price think it was around 5 for £6/7. Morrisons have a BOGOF offer on their +RW and -RW which makes 6 for £9.99 and PC World are selling a pack of 10 of Logik +RW for £8.99 but as always with PCW check as they go through at the till as these are normally £17.99 :D

Make sure you get the correct ones if your DVD recorder doesn't use both + and -.

I've bought cheap discs from Dixons and had some faulty ones:mad: . The discs I prefer are more expensive but have all been excellent quality.

They are Maxell DVD+RW from Argos, catalogue number 534/1630 and are £9.99 for 5 discs.

To check today's price and availability look up the 3 digit code for your local store and ring 0870 600 1010.

I got some Mitsubushi Black Diamond DVD - RW from poundland (single disks) and they do the job in my dvd recorder. ( I just need to work out how to use the timer correctly, as it never seems to record when I set it!)

I bought my DVD+R at 5 for £4.99 at Lidl and they seem fine to me! I've never heard of the make "Octron" max 8x speed. They always have them in just near the tills.

I'd strongly recommend ebuyer.com if you can bear to navigate a site that's geared towards computer geeks - you'll get the best prices for blank DVDs and also see reviews for all the different ones that are available from people that have used them. They also sell other useful stuff at great prices, like the pens to write on the DVDs, DVD cases for 10p each, etc.

    I'd recommend these:
