Just seen this advertised.
Free bottle of Cava (or other selected wines or soft drinks) when you buy 3 selected party foods at Marks and Spencer.
Starts 29th December. Ends 1st January ?
Think it could be this one (came top in a review in Daily Mail):
NV Marks & Spencer Prestige Cava, Spain (£8.49, reduced to £6.49 until 1 January, Marks & Spencer). My favourite inexpensive wine of the year is this shockingly pure and sophisticated Cava. Served ‘blind’ no one would be able to guess that it is only a six pound wine. This is a brilliant party fizz with more class than you could ever imagine.
I am certain there are some party foods at £3.99 a pack (might even be one at £2.99) so works out better value than the 3 for 2 before Christmas.

It didnt seem to be the prestige cava on offer in our local M & S this morning with the party foods. Just the regular cava.0

great offer, will this work if you buy party food that has been reduced because of best before date ?0

Just gt back and they had stacks of foods and drinks.
Can confirm it includes all types prestige cava - dry, rose and normal - all marked at £8.49 in our marks.
Food starts at £2.99 and so can get the offer for £8.97 all in.0 -

thanks
There isn't (I've looked) but it includes stacks of things and they all seemed to have a sticker on saying they were in the deal.0 -

It won't as the yellow barcodes that they put on over ride what the product is and a reduced item therefore becomes just that - a reduced item. Therefore it is no longer a product that qualifies for a deal.0 -
A couple of years ago this "prestige" Cava was £3.49 a bottle (£7 each on BOGOF) with 15% off if buying 6 bottles. We bought 6 bottles and it was vile. A friend produced a bottle at Christmas and its the same stuff. M&S should be ashamed.0

I also noticed the following in the offer:
2 x Irish Coffee in glasses
2 x Brandy Hot Chocolate in glasses
These are nice little items at this time of year and whilst they are priced at £4.99 they make a good alternative to the (supposed) £8.49 Cava.:o0 -
Went and had a look at thiis one last night....as we always have an M&S new years eve and in honesty I didnt think it was as good an offer as they have had in previous years where they have done a dine in style pick 3 things and a bottle for £x
Usually I would have opted for a fish/prawn, something meaty, and something else but mostly the things that were taking my fancy were in the £5+ price range so it would probably have worked out at between £15 and £20 for the deal...
Ive plenty of fizz left over from christmas so I couldnt even justify it that way either...so ive headed off to Sainsburys this year where in my local the deal in the chiller cabinet is buy one for £3 and get one free from quite a large selection...
This year we have
8 tempura prawns
10 butternut squash risotto balls
10 duck spring rolls
12 chorizo bites
king prwan selection
12 mini cheese bites
10 vegetable moneybags
3 dip selection
Total price £12
Sainsburys also have 3 for £5 in the frozen and I believe a bottle of champagne is £12...so this year we will welcome in the new year without M&S for the first time in many years...happy new year all!....frugal October...£41.82 of £40 food shopping spend for the 2 of us!
2017 toiletries challenge 179 out 145 in ...£18.64 spend0
