The doors were locked because we were restocking, and finishing the cleaning, the cafe was open as usual which is where I've been working over the last week or so.

Had dinner and a shower rather than a bath as I forgot I'd turned off the water heater, uniform is part ironed, had to come back downstairs to get my trousers and havent quite made it back up off the sofa yet but I have dried my hair as the hair dryer is down here.

Now you'll just have to remember the early night, otherwise you'll be Groucho Grouchy from Grouchville tomorrow.

Hope tomorrow goes as planned... ;)

So situation normal then......I am soooo not a morning person and never have been, I still have no clue why my boss gives me earlys as she knows I'm a grumpy cow, and most likely will swear at customers asking stupid questions.

She not there until after a reasonable hour when I'm starting to act like a semi rational human being. So unless shes checking the CCTV I doubt it.

Oh, you don't want to be one of those. They're no fun...

You never know, she might be supplementing her income from sending the footage into TV programmes... ;)

I had done already. And I said semi rational, anything beyond that is both not fun and too much like hard work!

Work wasnt too bad, was actually busier than I expected it would be, but I'm still glad to be home, was thinking about walking to the not so local country pub for lunch as the weather is gorgeous but I really need to do some housework so am sat in the garden with the lappy. Need to trim the lawn and I have one load of washing in the machine, once this lot is done am thinking about doing some clothes as the first load is towels and some how my wash basket is full again already.

The rest of the afternoon is going to be devoted to dealing with the washing and swagbucks as I'm around 600 points away from claiming another £100 in paypal funds.

So the house work went well, assuming you can consider having one load of washing on the line and then emulating my dads dog and going to sleep in a sunny corner for a few hours.

Once the fact that the sun was behind the washing and I was getting cold woke me up I decided I needed to go for a run - disgustingly slow, almost 3 mins slower than the last time I ran the route 5 weeks ago and over 6 mins slower than I was running it when I was running regularly!!

Try to avoid that phrase, as that's a euphemism for something completely different... :rotfl:

It's better to enjoy the weather while it is here, than pine for it when it isn't.

I wore my sunglasses today. First time this year...

Not disgustingly slow. Just not as quick as you'd like - you can just improve when you go again. You always go slower in the hot sunshine - for many reasons.

It felt disgustinglyslow even to me while I was out running - the last two runs were on similarly warm days so decent enough comparisons.

I'm not sure I actually have any sunglasses in the UK, I keep a pair at Mums place in Tenerife but the ones I used to have in the car got broken a while back.

If it helps Z I also need to trim the bush at the front of the house as well as dealing with the grass (maybe get around to it tomorrow).

Realised I really needed to do some washing up when I went to start cooking dinner and realised I have no dinner plates, and eating off a side plate just seems wrong on so many levels. So have just a couple more bowls to wash once they've had time to soak, and a few mugs and glasses, def need to get a two tier drainer when mine finally falls apart - and its well on its way.
