will pop over and have a look, thanks x
  • Ended up spending a few more £'s today on food but not much, taking January's grocery spend to £14.98, still not that bad so far for the month:) I will be hopefully spending nothing tomorrow, unless something crops up I'm not expecting, let's hope not!:D

Hoping to make another debt payment in the morning too:T I am determined to hammer this once and for all!:j

£5.00 Pad and £1.00 into the sealed pot for me this morning:T I have also made a payment to my debt, but still have to wait for the statement to come through before I can update plus I may be able to make another small payment next week, which should go through before the statement too. I am hoping to see a nice reduction in the total even after the interest has gone on:j

It's all plodding along nicely so far this month, no major hiccups or unforeseen circumstances as yet. I am trying to tuck some extra pennies away into my emergency fund so that I can build it up, but it's really only token payments at the moment as my priority is the debt:A

Hoping for a NSD today but we shall see, I know I will have two over the weekend so not to worried, I hope to better organised next month with my spending so that it only gets done on certain days, and hopefully then I will be abe to increase my NSD target.

  • A new statement in this morning:T

43.62 off the debt total, taking my payments so far to: £211.45 :j I think this is 1.91% paid so far off the debt:D

I have also PADded £5.00 this morning and my usual £1.00 to the sealed pot:)

Didn't manage a NSD yesterday as I had a £3 voucher off £30 spend which needed to be used up so my grocery total now stands at £46.68 I should think there will be a few pounds to add on to that early next week but I should still be under my £60.00 budget for the week. I shall be putting my leftover change into the sealed pot towards Christmas 2012:T:T:T

My spreadsheets are coming along nicely:rotfl: I am starting to get obsessed by them, which, I suppose is not a bad thing really:D

Today will be NSD number 3/12 as I shall not be moving from the house!

This weekend I will be working on my meal planner and shopping list for next week, plus some much needed housework:A

There should be another statement on Monday or Tuesday, so will have another update then, plus will be paying some more money off my overdraft:)

The debt is starting to go the right way now, after Christmas where more was added on, it should now only be heading in a downwards direction:j

  • Today will be NSD number 4, as again I shall not be opening my purse today:D

£5.00 padded this morning and £1.00 to my sealed pot:j

Have made a start on the meal planner for next week and fingers crossed, the grocery bill should be under budget then too. I am gradually making my way through the stocks that I have in, trying to make meals out of what I already have, this is a great way to stay in budget on the grocery shop:)

Shall spend some of today tinkering with my spreadsheets:D

  • £10 padded this morning and £1.00 to the sealed pot:T

Had a lovely time yesterday playing around with my spreadsheets and now have some extra tab on there:D aiming to track my grocery spending to see where I could save more money!

I also put my figures in the snowball calculator and at a squeeze it is possible to clear all my debt by the end of 2012 but this will mean that I need to have my sensible head on and no make any extravagant purchases and I will have to do some ebaying too :T:T:T but it IS possible:D

I am making good headway so far this month and am waiting patiently for the statements to come in so I can adjust the figure on the total paid towards debt and also update the spreadsheet with the minimum payments to be paid on the debt for next month. I am trying to pay off the highest interest debt first which will ensure the debt will come down the quickest it can. Although it would be motivating to pay off one of the smaller debts first just so it is gone, I need to do everything I can to make sure I can clear it all this year:)

Today won't be a NSD as I have the last few grocery bits to get for this week, but I will be putting the remaining pennies in the pot:)

I will be aiming for NSD's tomorrow, Thursday and Sunday, which will keep me on track to manage my 12 for the month:j

Staying in all weekend also meant that I didn't use any petrol:) I am hoping this sort of thing will reflect over the coming months so I can get away slightly less than budgeted over the whole year, equalling more money off the debt.

So, currently my DFD sits at 31st December 2012:D but I am hoping that with all the challenges I am doing, the new budget, more careful grocery planning and using the car less, plus loads of other ideas, that I can reduce this date to at least before Christmas 2012:j:j

  • Grand total of £56.48 spent on groceries this week, so £3.52 under budget, which has gone into the pot:)

Will draw out this weeks food money on Wednesday and hopefully be within budget for this coming week too:j

Nine days into the new year and I have managed a fair bit off the debt, 4 NSD's and to be under budget on the weekly shop. Result:D
