Hi Raspberrysauce
Happy New Year. I too have had a NSD as I've also not been anywhere apart from the couch after last night lol. I have joined the Grocery Challenge at £200 for January so I spent just under £50 on Friday stocking up on everything. That way I think I will be able to come under budget every week.

£5 to PAD and £1 to sealed pot today:T
Again another day in the house, I shall be spending tomorrow, so am enjoying having another NSD:D
Need to dig deep in the freezer today to find something for dinner tonight, tbh it needs a big clear out so I can see what I do have, I obviously will need to make another list:rotfl:Pay off debt by Xmas 2012 #172

Payday tomorrow:T
£5.00 PADded this morning and £1.00 into the sealed pot:)
Lots to get done today so this will be my first spend day of 2012! Little raspberries back to school today so I am planning on tackling their rooms and having a clear out while they are not around:D
Shopping list finished, all ready for grocery shopping tomorrow, hoping to come in under budget this week by using up a lot from the freezer and cupboards. I have joined the Grocery Challenge for January and have set a budget of £300. It should be manageable with careful planning!Pay off debt by Xmas 2012 #172

Payday:D
A payment of £57.42 off the debt today bringing my total to £167.83/£11051.73 so far:j
I have also Padded £5.00 and Potted £1.00
Lots of direct debits and debt payments came out of bank account this morning, but will wait until statements are through and interest added on before I update my total debt paid again. Always seems such a long wait between statements!
Will be nipping to the shops this morning for some milk, bread and a few other bits, will update with total spent later, will also be the first amount off January's Grocery Challenge of £300....
I am quite pleased with the amount of debt I have paid already in such a short time:T it does really add up. My sealed pot also feels quite heavy now, although I know there is loads of space yet to fill. Today will not be a NSD but I am hoping for three in a row, on Friday, Saturday and Sunday:)Pay off debt by Xmas 2012 #172

i mite borrow your idea with the birthday pressys too, if i budget an amount then that is what il spend, even if i get a discounted item i still buy something else!! how silly is that!
i dont have as much to pay off as you but i dont have much time so im gonna live on here til iv compleated my mission!! will follow you with intrest, hopefully picking up some more tips along the way x0 -
Hi Jem
The Grocery Challenge is old the Old Style Moneysaving Board, loads of helpful tips for reducing the food shopping bill:)
I am quite pleased with the money paid off so far:j Hopefully this will continue. One of the most helpful things is having a spreadsheet that tracks everything! That way you see where every penny goes and what can be transferred to debt repayments:T
Will be back later with an update for the Grocery spends so far.....Pay off debt by Xmas 2012 #172

The usual £5.00 PAD and £1.00 into the sealed pot for me this morning:T
Again, a spend day so no NSD for me, I still think 12 days is manageable, have done 2 so only 10 left to do.
Made another small payment off the debt this morning, but I won't count it on my total debt paid figure until the statement comes in around the middle of the month.Pay off debt by Xmas 2012 #172
