Raspberry's clear the debt diary

Hi everyone,

I have spent the last week sorting everything out so I can start afresh from January and clear the debt in 2012.

New account set up, challenges joined and new budget worked out:)

I am determined to pay down this debt once and for all!

This diary will be a place where I can record my (hopefully) triumps:D

I am hoping to have cleared as much as possible by the end of the year and finally be able to save for the things I want instead:T

  • Congratulations on starting a diary, I can't wait for the New Year to get started on everything!

    I shall read with interest

    xx
    Nevertheless she persisted.
  • Thanks buffy:)

I'm up early this morning, couldn't sleep at all, I must be excited for christmas:j

Have the last of the Christmas bits to do at some point today then that's it for me no more shops until at least 27th, tbh I would rather stay away from them altogether until after new year but will need milk and fresh stuff:o

Will be making a payment to PAD later today when I know what's what and I've been shopping, hopefully more than a few pennies this time:D

My new budget is all ready to go now:T, I keep tweaking it as I think of anything I have forgotten:)

I am hopeful that I will then have 4 no spend days in a row at least:A the money I am with drawing today is going to have to last me until January 4th which is 12 days:eek: Fingers crossed I can last until then:cool:

I'm starting to really look forward to 2012 now:beer::T

Had all final totals of debt in this morning and as I feared it was higher than previous total as I had put a few things on the creditcard this month, total now stands at £11051.73:eek:

That figure has totally scared me:mad: but I am now more determined than ever to clear as much as possible in 2012:T

I shall be updating my total every 24th of the month, so I am hoping it will have started to come down a little by January 24th:j

Won't be on for a few days now, so have a happy Christmas everyone!

    Thanks banwa:)

Had a lovely Christmas and got many wonderful presents:)

10p to the sealed pot this morning and 30p PAD:j

    Plans for this coming week:

Use up as much as possible from the food in the house, have plenty left food wise so should be able to last until January 4th, 8 days to go.

Make the leftover grocery money stretch until 4th, hopefully will only need fresh stuff, milk, bread etc...

Write up a meal plan for week starting 4th and a shopping list.

    Try and PAD every day:)

Keep playing around with spreadsheet and debt calculations to see if there is any way I can bring DFD forward a bit more.

Try and keep my personal spends to a minimum, I have £5 left but shouldn't need to spend anything as everything is covered:j I also have loads of chocolate for Christmas so won't need to buy any of that either:D

50p PAD for me today, I love seeing it go up everyday:j

A quiet day planned today, and a bit of housework and my third NSD in a row:D

    A PAD of £2.00 this morning too:T

I have a few things to do today so it won't be a NSD, but will be aiming for a couple more before the year is over!
