So, got some right bargains today at the Co-0p.

I had a £2 voucher to use which was grand and i also got some yellow stickered chicken, sausages and a wee haggis ready meal to do me after late shifts. Also got some lovely cheese, yoghurt, eggs and buttter and some sweetcorn all for £16.66 :j:j:jHave already got quite a bit of food in for this month, will do the sausages as a wee sausage casserole in the SC tonight and am feeling quite organised food wise this month.

Need to get some social plans sorted now that work is a wee bit less mental. :rotfl:

Celebrity Juice then bed tonight. Love it!

  • another one here thinking of Ibiza this year

Souk, glad you had a lovely Christmas, your pressies sound ace :T and chuffed to bits for you that you got so much of your deposit back :j

Your grocery spend is inspiring me - I need to make my food budget work really hard this year and have allowed a bit more than you, so had better get a shift on!

I'm completely with you on the fizz - £25 on premium gin no problem. Full price coco pops - I don't think so :rotfl:

So glad your new work is going well :)
  • Oops just reread what I wrote...cocktails and scousers :rotfl:didnt mean to put it like that.

I got a kindle for Christmas, havent put anything on it and I'mstarting to feel guilty as I'm sure my Dad will ask me soon what I have been reading!

Souk, this sounds great! I seem to spend loads at the supermarket when I stock up - but the kitchen is bursting at the seams now, better start to use it all - tho I do like the sound of a haggis ready meal for after the late shifts :)

Fab shopping Souk. Sounds like you had a lovely time at Christmas. I look forward to hearing all of your adventures in 2012.

But I bought a ready made pasta sauce tonight:rotfl:It's a lovely weightwatchers one and it was £1 which I'll use for two dinners but still....

I needed some more food so went to the butchers for lamb and also Lidl where I got some spices, balsamic vinegar (a HUGE bottle for £1.29), naan bread and smoked bacon bits as well as garlic and some treats for me including smoked salmon, red wine :j and crisps and dip. These can be eaten on either the night of the 1st or on the 2nd, which will be my New Years Day as im working on the 1st:eek: Can't say as Im looking forward to it but it has to be done.

I'll be hungover as Im donning my new frock and a heel and heading out with a gay tomorrow night after work.:jGoing to a few localish gay places and then I'm out again with my management team on the 2nd. This will be fun as I've not been out larging it at all lately and I miss it! Off work on the 2nd and 3rd so that will be chill out time.

Done a wee hoover round and a tidy tonight and scrubbed my grill (thanks Hypno!) and off to bed in a bit as I need to get up early to shave the pins and do the toenails ready for tomorrow night.

I STILL have a wonky router as the new one they've sent out has gone AWOL so can't get online more than once a day and will probably be rushing out tomorrow so I just want to wish y'all a very HAPPY NEW YEAR  when it comes. See you on the other side X
