im married!!!!!!!!!!!

we did it, we're married, im so happy, the wedding was brilliant,. we didnt get many photos outside the church as it was blooming freezing but it didnt rain which i was most concerned about! , the limo got us to the church 10 mins early so we had to go round the town twice hehe and then when we got back the organiset wasnt there so we were all stood outside freezing our !!!!!! off!

when it was time for us to go in i started to cry but managed to pull it together when i faced mart and walked to him, out vows went well, but i cried when it was my turn to put the ring on him , mart told me he stqarted to tear up when he saw me in my dress which he says is absolutly stunning.

then the reception was fab,
... my speech was so hard to say, and i nearly didnt manage! and had a few people moved to tears!
the sky lanterns was nice, but i managed to set fire to my 2 lol!
oh - the dj didnt have my first dance song so had to wait for his boss to get it to him! !!!!! and i sang the song to mart as we swooned on the floor, and i cried again!

All in all an amazing day and i cant beleive im finally Mrs C Pyke xxx

this was my speech -

I have decided to keep this speech as short as I can, so at least if you don't find it entertaining you can compliment me on its length.

Good evening Ladies and Gentlemen - The following speech is brought to you in association with Dutch courage!

First off id life to say a big thank you for making it here to be with us on our special day, it means so much to us that you took time and care to share this day with martin and I as we took our vows

Id like to thank the brides maids and page boys, Charlotte holly and Bert and Stan you all look amazing and did a fantastic job so thank you HAND THEM THEIR GIFTS

My uncle jerry walked me down the isle today because he is in many ways like my father, he has been there for me when I needed him, told me off when I did something wrong, comforted me when I was upset . GIVES GIFT

My aunty carol and charlotte did a beautiful job with the flowers today so thank you to them for working so hard on them GIVES GIFT

Thank you to rich for being an usher for us and master of ceremonies, you did a great job, GIVES GIFT and rob, for being best man, and here’s a little something GIVES GIFT as a bribe for not saying anything too embarrassing about me in your speech I hope!!

id like to mention my mum, she cant be with us here today as she passed away over 5 years ago, but I know she would be so proud to see me here on my wedding day and would have enjoyed the occasion and no doubt would have been on the baileys drink and been first on that dance floor as soon as the disco was set up! Also a toast to other people we love that couldn’t be with us today, nan, Gramp and my gramp x

Last but not least I would like to thank martins mum and dad Jackie and terry, but I may now call them mum and dad myself, because without them, id have never have known love in martin,
Mum, dad, you know I’m, awful with words (as does everyone else by now) so I made a little poem to let you know how I feel and to say thank you


You have given me more than you’ll ever know
A person to share my life
I couldn’t be any happier
That he has chosen me for his wife

You brought him up to be a man
That’s decent kind and true
Today I married the man I love
And I wanted to say thank you

Since we met, we’ve had our ups and downs, and I know some people didn’t think it would last, but here we are on our wedding day so martin, my husband In preparation for this moment, I’ve been trying hard to come up with something original that would sum up everything that I feel about you, and how much this day means to me. But nothing quite expresses what I wanted to say, so let me keep it old-fashioned and say, in front of all our family and friends: “I love you”.
