I think the Olympics must be his top priority. It is so important. We have spent 9bn on it already so a few people can run around and jump a bit. The whole of the UK should take second fiddle to this two week running and jumping extravaganza. I am so looking forward to seeing a few people chucking a spear and a lump of metal. 9bn? Bargain!!! We should spend 100bn on this.

And when it is all over (14 days) we can look back and say the £642.8m a day was the ultimate value for money this country has ever seen.

I am so looking forward to this. I really am.

You forgot the £80m on a few oversized fire crackers and roman candles (no I am not referring to the Hungarian women's team but to the pyrotechnical extravaganza).

Dave C will look into his bucket of options after the Xmas/New Year dust has settled.

It will be like looking into a KFC bucket trying to find the vegetarian offerings.

My advice is simple : *no sacred cows*. Ring fencing things like NHS in these impoverished times is stupid political gesturing.

He should start charging for GP appointments and missed appointments. We need to change the consumption model of key services, before the change is forced upon us anyway.

Running around shouting 'we doomed' is not going to be helpful.

It might wake a few million people up to the state the country is in.

Plenty of people have absolutely no idea about the current state this country is in.
  • Break the Unions. They have completely unrealistic ideas of what their members should expect in the current world situation - and will only harm the country and/or their own members long term.

they need to get real and stop being so greedy.

I would like my union to stay (ucatt).

Possibly. They havent done anything stupid yet as far as Im aware.

Personally Id never join a union. Paying money to a body that just want to fight - or so it seems. They do have worth with tribunals and the like but there are other options these days - and the law is more onside than in tha past.

Personally I think there an outdated organisation model, and are as much about personal power and gain as the polititions are.

Cameron's main job for 2012 is to find a successor, because Coulson will blow up in his face as soon as reporting restrictions are lifted.

I've been saying it for a while and I'm going to say it again.
Hopefully more and more of you will come to realise ....

Cameron (or any other mp) does not give a 5h1t about you, your family or even the country.

They have been bought and paid for and only serve their masters.

We, the "people", who supposedly elected them, count for nothing.

All they want is to stay in power long enough to earn the reward for their loyalty to their masters but not long enough to take any blame for their f*ck-ups.
