I'm about to petition for BR and need to clarify the issue with cars. In August, my partner bought a second car ostensibly for my use. It is his, invoice from the garage made out to him etc.
But we put me on the V5 as I would be the main driver and the main insurer - but I am NOT the owner in anyway shape or form.
would the sales invoice be sufficient for the OR or have we made a world of problems over this? If I transfer the V5 back to him and make him the main insured person - even though I drive it mostly - would the OR see it as transferring assets?

It should be OK, yes.
