How bad is this : [
Im currently on debt management with cccs and i wrote to all m y creditors as adv ised by them askign for interest frozena nd lower payments to help me pay off my bad , this is after i already tried to come to an arrangement after struggling with min paymt but had to let myself get in arrears with all of the before i could seek help !.
But since receiving the offer from cccs the hsbc has delinced the offer and sent a managed !!!!!???? ,loan for 13%%%%%% for the next 10 bloody years !!! with a lower monthlyu payment than ive offered , how unbelieveable !!!! i had never asked for a loan and they just sent my agreements to sign ... when i phoned to ask what was going on i was passed from pillar to post by loads of diffult people in various countries and nobidy could help , ewventually seven people later i was just told this is all we can offer as help for you ( end of story) , i was furious i cannot belive a bank ive banked with since i was 18 and held a credit card with treats me soooo badly , how can they get away with this ?????

that's exactly what happened to me with hsbc. they sent me the managed loan forms to sign when that wasn't what i asked for. they have agreed i can make lower payments now though. have a look at the template letters, i think there's one you can send when a creditor has decline your initial offer31/12/2006 £8395, 01/10/2008 £5089.73, 19/10/2010 £835.00 31/03/2011 £0.00

HSBC are very quick to offer these managed loans to people in trouble. They end up making more money in the end as the interest charge is more and for a longer period.
If it were me I would decline and try again with the CCS approachBaby Ice arrived 17th April 2011. Tired.com! :j0 -
HSBC have also sent me and DH a managed loan agreement to sign and yes, 10 more years at 4% higher rate of interest. I rang Payplan who knew their procedure so well it was almost funny !
They are immoral in my eyes and like the above post reads if you ever want to talk to someone you are in for a long wait.
Disgusting service by a bank that has as much Customer Service ethic as my dog.0 -
its good to hear im not the only one being treated so poor , im getting more and more fustrated by the way all the banks (creditors ) deal with me . I have always paid my min pymts and never been behind with payments and i felt i was ok along as long as i met these .but its just got too much every month but im really gutted now that ive had to ruin my credit rating and have defaults galore all for 3 months without paying anything just so i can get some help to get me through . I just think ist all so ridicolous . The best banks ive had deal with my situation has been Egg cc and barclaycard , egg put the credit limit up so icould avoid ol charges and no pymt charges and barclaycard putg my account on hold for 2 weeks and every time i phone to advise where im up to the do it again .
Does anyone know if i can claim bank charges bank from credit cards ?
thanks for the replys nice to know others are in the same position and cope ing0 -
yeah you can claim the charges back from credit cards - late payment ones yes.Ever wonder about those people who spend £2 apiece on those little bottles of Evian water? Try spelling Evian backward.0

do you just request them in the same way as the bank account one? with the letters ?0
