I would have said 78 but as that's not an option I guess I would go for 12 - eg the 5 gold rings are just treated as one gift?

I think it's 364 as you get most of the items several times. i.e. 1 + (1+2) + (1+2+3) + etc

I would say 364. On the first day you receive one, on the second day you receive 3 gifts, on the third day you receive six gifts and so on.

I think all the answers of 178 in the comments are wrong! If 364 hadn't been an option I would have said it was an error but I think they haven't considered the fact that this crazy guys keeps giving his lady the same gifts over and over! How many partridges can one girl need!
