  • I conacted Nawest as I got to work about my £719 debt and agreed to make regular payments with the company that the debt has been passed on to (I've vowed to do this every Friday also because their direct debits are monthly not weekly - boooo) I'm going to start with making £20 payments and topping them up if I recieve any extra money from baking cakes or doing nail art for people.

I know these are only baby steps but I'm pretty proud of myself :D

  • Ooh, well done for getting something for your Tesco complaint. I complained to M&S the other week cos they sold me something online that was out of stock (the page said it was in stock), and they treated me like a complete idiot.
  • Thank you!!

I'm going to look through the rest of the letters I have and get in contact with the other debt collectors to get the ball rolling!

    Thanks again

Sidenote: I haven't spent a single penny today

 M&S aren't very good when it comes to following up complaints; they were rude to me once before - I gave them what for and wrote a very long letter to head office and they sent me a £50 voucher for inconvnience caused...I'd definitely chase it up if they didn't take you seriously the first time

  • Argh, M&S. The most annoying thing was that the person who handled my complaint told me to email them back - but the email came from an address that began noreply@..... I complained about that as well, pointing out that is wasn't very customer-friendly and they didn't answer.

They're obviouly doing well despite the economic climate and don't need our custom ;).

Anyway, well done on your debt-busting progress so far!

  • Ohh noo...I've got a last minute booking to do nails at a Christmas market on Saturday so I had to rush out today and buy all the extra bits I needed (I had put these on my Christmas list but...I still have 17days to wait - boooo)

I'm not exactly sure how much I spent, I'll have to calculate when I get home...it was around £25 and I didn't get a single thing I wanted (other than a 50p hotdog...I was hungry!!)

  • I love hot dogs...and it was only 50p

I just set my direct debit to pay off the £410 of my Provident account *dances* I'm on a roll - so I'll be free from that debt by apporoximately 4/5/12 :)

I think I haveone more debt collector to contact and then it's all under control *phew*

(One of my debts from British Gas is 'under investigation' because they can't seem to find me on record...I'm praying I'm non existent in their books lol)
