INSTORE NOT ONLINE GLITCH SORRY

Toys R Us currently have 2 offers running that co-inside with each other.

"Spend £20 on Chuggington and get free Remote Control Brewster (£20 excuding Remote Control Brewster)"

and

"3 for 2 on all Chuggington (excluding Remote Control Brewster)"

only problem for them is, it does not exclude Remote Control Brewster - well not the CHUGGER CHAMPIONSHIP version anyway! (may work with the other version too but I cannot confirm this) ;)

Here is 2 examples that I purchased yesterday:

Example 1:

Remote Control Chugger Championship Brewster -
http://anonym.to/?http://www.toysrus.co.uk/Toys-R-Us/Toys/Cars-and-Trains/Toy-Trains-and-Playsets/Chuggington-RC-Championship-Brewster(0089021) - £19.99

Chuggington Die-Cast Chugger Championship Series Set -
http://anonym.to/?http://www.toysrus.co.uk/Toys-R-Us/Toys/Cars-and-Trains/Cars-and-Playsets/Chuggington-DieCast-Chugger-Championship-Series-Set(0090327) - £29.99

Chuggington Deluxe Wash and Recycle Playset -
http://anonym.to/?http://www.toysrus.co.uk/Toys-R-Us/Toys/Cars-and-Trains/Toy-Trains-and-Playsets/Chuggington-Deluxe-Wash-and-Recycle-Playset(0087619) - £49.99 INSTORE

Total to pay £59.99

It deducted £19.99 for the Spend £20 and get free Brewster and also £19.99 for the 3for2 cheapest item free.

Example 2:

Remote Control Chugger Championship Brewster -
http://anonym.to/?http://www.toysrus.co.uk/Toys-R-Us/Toys/Cars-and-Trains/Toy-Trains-and-Playsets/Chuggington-RC-Championship-Brewster(0089021) - £19.99

Chuggington Wilson Storage Case -
http://anonym.to/?http://www.toysrus.co.uk/Toys-R-Us/Toys/Preschool-Toys/Chuggington-Wilson-Storage-Case(0061500) - £14.99

Chuggington Dunbar Die-Cast Engine -
http://anonym.to/?http://www.toysrus.co.uk/Toys-R-Us/Toys/Preschool-Toys/Chuggington-Dunbar-DieCast-Engine(0077566) - £5.97

Total to pay £14.99 !!

It deducted £19.99 for the Spend £20 and get free Brewster and also £5.97 for the 3for2 cheapest item free.

Have fun glitching guys I am sure someone will find better ways to work this.

I am curious to know whether the first offer mentioned is not working properly too, in other words could you buy 2 of the £5.97 items, plus the Remote Control Brewster and pay just £5.97?

I have anonymized the links so as not to alert Toy R Us :)

The links work for me. I don't need this offer, but thanks for posting OP. A great deal for whoever who wants them. :D

It comes up as a black screen, but wait a couple of seconds and it takes you to TrUs

My DD main present is chuggington interactive this year, might have to drop in and see if I can buy 2 more interactive trains and the remote control brewster for roughly £10 as the trains are about £10 each. Even better deal for somebody wanting a couple of trains for the die cast version, £6 for 2 trains and a remote control brewster. Hopefully a nationwide glitch!
  • Bumping for exposure ;)

By my reckoning you should be able to do the following:

    Buy 2 items @ £12.97 or 1 @ £12.97 and 1 @ £9.99 + Remote Control Brewster and pay just £12.97.
    SAVING £32.96

Buy 2 items @ £14.99 + Remote Control Brewster and pay just £14.99.
    SAVING £34.98

Buy 2 items @ £19.99 + Remote Control Brewster and pay just £19.99.
    SAVING £39.98
  • tried in store, took more expensive bits but the woman at the check out told me i couldn't possibly have them at £40 odd and caused a big hoo ha and called the floor manager, then the store manager after 15 minutes of messing about i said it didn't matter and left. silly trout! i should have gone to one of the "work experience" type till hands :(
i can confirm however that it does work x

Just been to one (mad busy) store ... no Brewesters left (apparently had "quite a few this morning" ;)) ... but CS phoned through to another store and have had one put away for me. :j

I'll make sure to go to a young, harassed checkout assistant. Thanks for the warning!
