Hi all, wondering if someone on here may be able to help me. I want to make a recipe in my slow cooker that my Gran used to make for Bonfire Night when we were kids. It's an old Black Country recipe called Groaty Pudding or some people call it Groaty !!!!!!. It's like a really thick creamy stodgy stew, made using groats, neck of lamb, leeks etc... Does anybody know where I can buy groats from? I know Bonfire night has been and gone, but I'd love to make a pot of it, used to love the stuff.
Thank you in advance xx

Marriages are made in heaven, but then again so is thunder and lightning!!!.....getting divorced lol :j

I saw this being made on Saturday Morning Kitchen the other week, on a Keith Floyd clip. The lady helping him make it said to buy them from your local pet shop as they are sold for bird seed. I kid you not!0
