gift for groom journal ideas

Hi all,

So inspried by the Oh so cherished book I saw at the weekend I would love to do somehting like this myself, BUT I just cant afford to pay £25 for a book. So I am thinking of doing something similar but more personal to us, can you have a look and see what you think? I dont have a lot of time left (wedding is in 33 days) but i want to gift something to H2B of more sentimental value:

You make me happiest when:
You changed my life:
My my treasured memory with you:
When i see you today:

I will also have some photos, a poem which I have written and some other bits and pieces I have from our journey to the aisle together.

What do you think, any ideas of other questions I could have in there?

I can't wait for/to... (Something in the future maybe?)

I would like to do something like this, but I'm not sure my lovely man will appreciate it. I might just do it anyway!!!

aww that's a lovely idea! Much better than a £25 book that you just fill in!

I bet many men wouldn't think to do this for us ladies though!

I made one of these, I bought a lovely book from paperchase like this http://www.paperchase.co.uk/invt/00485818/ and then used the questions from the groom journal which are these:

I added pictures of throughout our relationship in between the questions.

My husband absolutely loved it, made him cry! But he was all cried out by the time he was at church, so no tears there

If you are anything like me though give yourself plenty of time to write it all out!

I was going to make my own one too and ready this has made me search for one I've found a lovely one on eBay and I've emailed the seller and she is going to personalise the front for me and add a message inside for him to read.
I plan to add all the above questions which I found from the oh so cherished site and I thibk I'll add a list of songs that remind ne of him/us, the lyrics and cd cover to our song, photos, little bits I've collected like tickets etc and a list of special dates and explain first date, first kiss etc. I'm also going to add a page of hid favourites like favourite food etc. I'm sure I'll think of more to add as I go along.
I love stuff like this and can't wait to start making it, it makes me want to cry thinking about it lol
