dealing with CC's

I recently wrote to my CC companies asking if they would reduce the interest on my accounts, some are as high as 29.9%..

I have had letters back from most of them now asking me to supply an SOA for them to review. Is this wise to do myself or is it better now to ask a debt agency to look at this with me? I feel a little nervous of giving the details to the CC companies as I am not entering a DMP, I still have an old business loan and I can pay the minimum payments on everything I have, trouble is we will lose my OH's salary for a while next year when she goes on maternity leave.

Anyone have any advice?

Thanks,

I remember going to a presentation by CCCS where they said that they do have a proportion of dmps where the contractual payments are being made in full!

So that is an option for you.
