Hi there,
I am not sure if this is the correct place for this thread but sometime ago I came across a thread that discussed making money by using iphone apps and store visits.
Could someone share the info/links/experiences etc?
Thanks

Getjam.mobi. quidco app, on device research, I'm sure there's more.
Getjam can get about a tenner a month for watching a few videos.
Quidco you can check in at certain stores and earn up to 25p a
time. On device research pays up to 10 for surveys, I done one
last week, a few questions, then telling then when you use a phone or
laptop and other things over a few days, then a few questions to
complete it, I've 'earnt' about 20 quid in just over a week
It's only little bits and pieces but it all adds up.0 -

Ooo just thought of another one, Nielsen mobile, not sure if its on
the iPhone though, its on android and Nokia, a small app that tracks
how you use your phone, it doesn't send any private details to them,
just when you use your phone to send sma, make calls etc.
That pays 1000 points a month which can be redeemed for vouchers
for various highstreet stores or other gifts.
1000 points is 5 quid in vouchers, not much but as Tesco says, every little helps0 -
Qustodian is a new app you get paid for reading messages from. Not massive money but it looks like it will be decent.
Ipolls pays you for doing quick polls, say 10 questions, 20c each cashout at $10. I've had a couple a week from them so fairly decent.
Field Agent is the one with tasks - its mostly visiting retail stores or billboards, checking them out, little survey and maybe a photo about it. You cant cheat because it uses your GPS to check your in the store. I've not done any tasts thru this so cant comment on them.
As far as I can see there is no Nielsen or Ondevice apps for iPhone. I was a bit cautious to try the getjam thing I dunno what its doing to my phone when I go to the link!0 -
I can vouch for GetJam. I've been using it for about 7 months and have earned £17.50, although earnings have slowed down since they re-designed their site about 2 months ago. You get paid 'berries' for watching videos or clicking through adverts, and you can exchange them for cash by PayPal, iTunes vouchers or pre-paid phone top-ups. Just a word of caution, make sure you're connected to a Wi-Fi network when using it as streaming videos will eat your data allowance quickly.
I also use Quidco, which allows you to earn money for checking in to various shops. I've earned about £1/month since I started using it, but could probably earn more if I went into the town every time a check-in became available. You keep all the money you earn from check-ins (unlike cashback where they keep your first £5 each year), and it gets paid by BACS transfer when you reach the payment threshold (off-hand only about £2 I think).
I've earned about £6 doing surveys for NPolls. They're an American company and pay out by PayPal in US Dollars, but they accept participants from other countries including the UK. Some of the big survey sites like Valued Opinions, Onepoll and Toluna also have iPhone apps, but other than a few 15 point polls from Toluna I've hardly earned anything from them.Qustodian is a new app you get paid for reading messages from. How are you getting on with Qustodian? I'm still only up to 88p (I started using it in the middle of October for anyone who didn't follow the thread about it).0 -

NPolls that's what I meant lol. Got I on the brain!,,
Okay thanks on the Getjam - might leave it if it's slowed off.
Yes Quidco for checkins instore is very good. Worth doing.
The Toluna app is a bit rubbish can sometimes do a few quick polls if your lucky.
Didn't know about Onepoll thanks!
Qustodian I must have about the same as you - started the same time. Definitely slow going but it's hardly any effort is it :-)0 -
Have been using getjam for almost a year now and have to honestly say, was brilliant at first but over the last few months has really slowed down. now and now i'm wondering if its worth the effort.
The place I make most of my dosh from is onepoll surveys on my iphone (not the app version) just check it a few times a few and the pennies soon start to build up.0 -
are there any other apps ?0
