They have updated their competition rules and it now says;

If you have problems tagging yourself in the picture, then leave a comment or share the post with your friends

General Rules

like the page, then under the picture, on the right should be tag option, click that, then click on the picture and select your name. then click on finished tagging.

a picture only allows 50 tags maximum though, so if that mnay have already been tagged, or if you dont like the page (rather than just the picture/album) you wont be able to tag.

if ive not explained that well enough give me a yell and ill get screenshots and show you

Thank you for that. I have wondered how to do so many times and now I know.
Don't know what happened, if its them or me, but I tried tagging this picture and got message
blah blah.. as we told you earlier (??) you've been using this in a way that violates Facebook rules and its disabled now (or words to that effect).

What on earth is that about? I only use Facebook for comps, so I just stumble through blindly. I didn't expect it to shout at me!

This message seems to be the one that shows up when the maximum number of people have already been tagged in a photo (I don't know why it doesn't just say "Not able to tag more than 50 people in any one photograph"... as I too thought I'd accidentally abused some rules when I first saw this!)
