Tesco is holding up my 'Mortgage Offer', HELP!

I'm moving house & in a chain of 5!
I've had a mortgage with Nationwide for 10 years but they need a form stamped from my works (Tesco) who need to confirm my annual income!

They have not got back to Nationwide, in 4 weeks!
I am powerless to sort it my end as I've heard that the payroll is handled in India now.

Its just a form to have stamped for christ sake confirming my wage but I can see this blowing up in my face.
Nationwide have had no luck in chasing Tesco and there's no wages dept at my place of work.

If anyone has any info to help me I would be very grateful.

I really don't want to lose out on our new house & I can't believe my P60 & top rate credit score was not enough for the Nationwide in the 1st place!

Do you have a human rescources department? If not maybe the store manager or other relevant senior manager has some clout. Would Nationwide accept anything else such as letter from line manager etc? Surely the Indian payroll must be managed at some level in the company in the Uk? Contact them. I know on my email system at work I can contact anyone up to and including the CEO.

we have personnel dept but its a joke.
Nationwide have contacted the person acting on behalf of the personnel manager who is never there.
They have not helped Nationwide out!

Can you not send payslips to Nationwide?
