MasterCard Priceless People Promotion 17th October – 10th November 2011

1. The promotion is open to UK residents aged 18 years or over, excluding employees and their families of MasterCard, its agents or anyone else professionally connected with this promotion.
2. The promotion consists of a competition running from 17th October - 10th November 2011 inclusive ("Promotional Period").
3. To enter the promotion, visit www.facebook.com/MasterCardUK and "like" the page by clicking on the "like" button. Then click the link "tell us about your Priceless person" and allow MasterCard's "Request for Permission". Select a friend from your friends list and click "next". Where requested, input text (to a maximum of 300 number of characters) explaining why this friend was picked as a Priceless person and click "submit". You must agree to the terms and conditions and privacy policy by clicking the related check box before submitting. Additionally, you may optionally opt-in to receiving future MasterCard news via email by clicking the related check box before submitting. You may opt-out of receiving future MasterCard news at any time by visiting [EMAIL="facebook.mastercard@biggroup.co.uk"]facebook.mastercard@biggroup.co.uk[/EMAIL]
4. By submitting an entry to "Win a Priceless London weekend" you acknowledge that you are providing information to MasterCard and not to Facebook. You accept that your basic information as specified in the "Request for Permission" page and email address will be captured for up to 3 months after the end of the promotion for the purpose of contacting you if you are a winner.
5. Only 1 entry per person, per day. Each person from your friend list may only be nominated once during the Promotional Period. Only entrants of the promotion are eligible to win, not their Priceless person. The prize package is for 2 people and the winner is not restricted to sharing the prize with their nominated Priceless Person.
6. All entries must be received by midnight on 10/11/11 ("Closing Date").
7. 1 prize will be available to win in this promotion. The prize will consist of a Priceless London weekend prize package for 2 people consisting of: 2 x nights in a luxury hotel (chosen by MasterCard) in central London including breakfast, return economy train travel from winner's closest train station to London, a dinner for two with matched wines at a Michelin star restaurant in central London on night one (winner will be provided 1 x £200 Prepaid card to cover their restaurant bill), 2 x premium seats at one of these West End shows (as chosen by the winner, subject to availability): Journey's End, We Will Rock You, Million Dollar Quartet, Yes, Prime Minister, South Pacific, Rock of Ages or Ghost The Musical: Live and Unchained, on night two and a champagne flight for two on the London Eye.
8. Bulk entries made from trade, consumer groups or third parties will not be accepted. If it becomes apparent that a participant is using a computer(s) to circumvent this condition by, for example, the use of 'script', 'brute force' or any other automated means, that person's entries will be disqualified and any prize award will be void.
9. MasterCard monitors entrant's answers to this promotion and any answers which are , or could be regarded, as being disrespectful towards other members of the Facebook community or which contain anything which is likely to, or could cause offence or distress will be removed from the promotion. As someone who "likes" our page, your use of the page is subject to the terms and conditions located in the link below. Compliance will be judged on the context, medium, audience, and prevailing standards. The Promoter reserves the right to remove any answers in breach of this term with immediate effect, at its sole discretion.
10. Incomplete, illegal, misdirected or late entries will not be accepted. Proof of sending will not be accepted as proof of delivery. MasterCard (the "Promoter") and its agencies for this promotion take no responsibility for entries delayed, incomplete or lost due to technical reasons or otherwise.
11. One initial prize draw will take place on 11/11/11 to narrow the number of submissions for the competition. The draw will take place under the supervision of an independent adjudicator and 50 submissions will be drawn at random. A qualified panel will then review each submission and evaluate each based on the extent of merit expressed in their response and on the appropriate creativity of their response. The panel will select 1 winner for the competition. The winner will be notified by email within 4 business days of the end of the Closing Date.
12. Prize winners will have 28 business days from first being contacted to acknowledge the prize via the instructions in the notification and confirm they wish to accept it. Failure to do this will result in the prize being forfeit and the Promoter may at its absolute discretion award the prize to a reserve selected at the same time as the original winner or dispose of the prize at its discretion without liability to the winner. It is also a requirement for the winner to provide a valid ID before they can be awarded their prize. If winner hasn't provided a valid ID by 10 business days from first being contacted they will forfeit the prize in full.
13. The Promoter will not be held responsible for the competition winner and/or companion not taking advantage of the prize due to health or any other reason.
14. Prize is subject to normal availability upon booking.
15. There is no cash or other alternative for the prizes in whole or in part except that in the event of circumstances outside of its control the Promoter reserves the right to substitute the prize with one of equal or greater value. The prize cannot be separated into parts taken at different times. Prize must be taken in full, by the winner by 29th June 2012 unless otherwise agreed in writing by the Promoter.
16. The promoter's decision will be final with regard to all promotional matters, and no correspondence will be entered into.
17. Neither MasterCard nor agencies involved in this promotion will be liable for any loss or damage whatsoever caused by matters relating to this promotion.
18. The winner and his/her companion must be aged 18 or over and it is a condition of entry that winners and companions agree to take part in publicity accompanying or resulting from the promotion. This will include but is not limited to MasterCard UK announcing their name and winning entry publicly on the MasterCard UK Facebook page.
19. The promoter reserves the rights to vary these terms and conditions or cancel the competition at any stage in the event of circumstances arising beyond its control.
20. By entering the competition, entrants will be deemed to be bound by and have accepted the terms and conditions and privacy policy.
21. Any question concerning the legal interpretation of the rules will be based on English law and the Courts of England and Wales will have exclusive jurisdiction.
22. The promotion is in no way sponsored, endorsed or administered by, or associated with, Facebook. Facebook is not responsible to entrants in respect of any aspect of this promotion.

24. Entrants' personal data is processed by MasterCard the Promoter, the controller of your personal data, and also by the Promoter's agency involved in administering the Promotion. Entrants' personal data shall be processed for the purpose of their participation in the Promotion only and will only be retained as long as necessary for such purpose (i.e. until 3 months after the end of the Promotion). Entrants can request access to and/or rectification of their personal data if incorrect.
