Argh - finally admitting it: Nicola's DFD

Hi guys
I've finally admitted to myself that my debt is serious and I need to do something about it. I'm 24, live with long term partner, no kids of my own (although want some
). I'm just of 14k in debt - here is my SOA
Income:
£887 PCM (after tax, pension, NI)
Outgoings:
Half Rent £215
Amex £201
Abbey £50
Organic fruit & veg approx £52
Other Food approx £50
Water £15
Mobile phones (me and OH) and overdraft repayment £100 (usually £45 towards both phones)
Phone £11.99
Internet £14.99
Home Insurance £9.50
Petrol £20 every other month
Dad for car - what I can afford - aim for at least £50
The rest of my cash seems to go on toiletries, wine making stuff and occasional pubs/take aways.
OH pays council tax, gas and elec, Sky, TV licence, petrol every other month, half rent, CSA and his personal debts.
In bed at the moment with cold so no spending today, but plenty of reflection. Really need to get more paid off - my target is to get 4k repaid this year. Also hoping to get promoted at some point (only graduated last year so this is an entry level job).
Been doing a monthly personal downshift challenge which means that for every decision I make to go cheaper I repay the difference off my debt.
Yesterday I did two - firstly I used £7.00 worth of Boots vouchers to get hair and make-up products. Secondly when going for a drink with a pal I bought cranberry juice rather than wine. Overall I downshifted to make £11, which I shall cut off my overdraft!
So any support, advice, general cheering upness is welcome!

:heartpuls CG :heartpulsEver wonder about those people who spend £2 apiece on those little bottles of Evian water? Try spelling Evian backward.0
