Ohhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh I'd have......
Scrambled eggs with sausage, toasted muffins, beans, tomatoes and mushrooms
Stir fried chicken in a little soy sauce and chilli with peppers and noodles
Chicken Thighs slow cooked in a tomato and herb type sauce thing with rice/potatoes.
But then that's just me I'm sure you'll be much more imaginative!Free by FiftyDebt of the Moment -August NSD Challenge 14/150 -

Ooh I like the 'breakfast for dinner' idea
Definitely one for tomorrow I think... although DB refuses to eat mushrooms, missing out I say!
Dunno where my money is going this week - oh yes I do, junk food and booze! OopsStill, for this month it's not been a huge problem as I miscalculated the amount of overdraft I have left so have more money than I thought. Although obviously any spare apart from essentials should technically be going on the debts... but I'm making my snowball calculated payments at least so I'm not eating into allocated debt repayment moolah.
Will have to try harder from next month on though, I don't think there'll be as much wiggle room. I keep thinking of things I 'need' too. New winter work boots to keep my feet toasty, a new suit for my interview....
Anyway, I took out £40 for some reason on Saturday, spent about £8 on food and drink but still have the rest left (plus some money from DB that he owed me for groceries) and I'm determined for it to last me all week! NSD today which was a good start, probably a LSD tomorrow, just need to pick up some fruit or a yoghurt to go with my lunch.Savings target: £25000/£25000

So my personal 'don't spend any more money than is in my wallet' challenge is still ongoing. Today's expenditures:
- £4 on birthday cards
- £1.60 on a bag of apples
Living life to the full! :rotfl:
The bank account is looking slightly less healthy than previously due to grocery shopping, a bonus credit card payment to clear the Tesco one, filling up the petrol tank (£47 in my little Yaris!!) and replenishing my savings account that I forgot to do when my debit card was bust.... Only a week left til payday but £50 is allocated to a birthday meal out for DB, another £20 for a leaving do, and I could really do with getting me that new suit as I found out I have a job interview on 2nd December!
I should also really make sure I keep some money back to make up for a days missed pay for the strike next week. Mind you I don't think that will be taken out until end of December as we get paid the same day as the strike.Savings target: £25000/£25000

Oof busy couple of days... on a training course today til Saturday that is breaking my brain  I think I might be a wibbly mess by then, and will definitely need a drink or 3!!
Anyway, spending yesterday was quite well managed I thought. Went off the cinema (have an unlimited card) but resisted the temptation to splurge on expensive cinema snacks so bought some stuff from tesco to eat there. Total spendage yesterday:
£2.60 on cinema snacks
£1.70 on a pot of tea while I waited for my friend
£2 on parking
Also managed to grab a bunch of free wrapping paper from my friend who works in the Christmas trade :rotfl:
Today was also a low spend day. Bought some lunch as I wasn't sure if the training provided it - £2.47 on that, and that's all for today. Should be a NSD tomorrow, gonna pop back to my parent's place in the evening so I'm hoping I might wangle some curry out of it. Friday is Curry Night of course!Savings target: £25000/£25000

Best laid plans and all that.... not managing to get round parents place tonight as too much work to do for this damn training. I think it's disabled some connections in my brain or something, I've been impulsive all day! Anyway, fed up and knackered so ordering pizza tonight - I'm using a £5 off voucher and taking it from the cash in my purse, so not too much of a budget disaster
Better get cracking with this case study or I'll be in work til 7pm tomorrow!
Savings target: £25000/£25000

Well the busy days aren't really subsiding, and the spending diary looks like it's gathering dust over in the corner! In good news things are still in the 'black' as it were. Well apart from my overdraft. But that doesn't really count :A What I mean is that things are still going 'to plan' budget wise! I'm trying to tot up my grocery spends for this month but I've properly confused myself and now I have no idea!
- I know that I took out £40 on 19th November and have spent almost all of that on food
- There is £44 of Asda home delivery on 22nd November
- £12.61 in Asda the other day....
Ok I give up, next month I'll try and keep up with myself! Giving myself a Must Try Harder for the spending log this month...
So far this week has some good things- pay day tomorrow yay!
- £200 'left' of my overdraft this month
- The £12 in asda will keep us fed for pretty much all of this week
- Meal plan is complete
And some bad things....- Job interview on Friday
- A leaving do on Friday meaning extra expense
- Need to buy a new suit this week so I look presentable
- On strike tomorrow so out a day's pay
- My headlamp is out on the car so I'll need a trip to Halfords to get them to fix it
I'm feeling some Xmas present pressure already now, my DB has kindly bought a lot of my family members presents but now I feel guilty that I wasn't planning on buying his lot anything much!! Will have to find some token presents of some kind or another and resist the temptation to spend more than I can afford...Savings target: £25000/£25000

Woop payday! Today is going to be a productive one, being on strike doesn't mean I get to lounge around the house in my PJs (well at least not for much longer). Plan for today:
- [STRIKE]check bank account[/STRIKE]
- [STRIKE]pay off last bits of my lower balance BC[/STRIKE]
- [STRIKE]get my car headlamp changed[/STRIKE]
- wash my car (it is FILTHY)
- buy a suit - crazy traffic due to protesters means I'm going to put this off til tomorrow evening after work
- [STRIKE]do my weights training[/STRIKE]
After 2nd December one BC will be paid off, so I can start rolling those payments over to the next one, woop!Savings target: £25000/£25000

Well that's most things done, got fed up after sitting in traffic for an hour to go about 1 mile due to closed roads in the centre of town so I've abandoned suit shopping and finding a carwash today. I have done two extra MSE things today though which doesn't make me feel so bad - cancelled my Experian and Equifax accounts before the free trials ran out. I think... I am terrible at datesSavings target: £25000/£25000

Trying to get all my Xmas shopping out of the way today. I wish I was a savvy ebay shopper or could find the best deals, but I have enough trouble getting present inspiration as it is! So far I've bought everything for my sisters, parents, friends secret santa and a little something for my sisters OH. Still need to find something for my DB and his family....Savings target: £25000/£25000
