Millie's debt diary

Well I'm back after a slight deviation from the plan... ok not exactly, but I went on holiday this month to Sweden which is a VERY expensive place to visit :beer::eek: Remained mainly within the budget, about an extra £50 over what I had planned for and more than I had hoped for, but I had forgotten to take into account petrol expenses for the hire car.
Anyway due to that messing with my finances I only managed to pay about £250 off the barclaycard this month which I am less than pleased with. However, I am cancelling my holiday fund, wiping out the rest of my savings and pushing every last penny back into debt repayments from now on! I should be able to pay an extra £450 off my BC this month due to that.
I am determined to pay all this off by my September deadline!Savings target: £25000/£25000

Tracking ins and outs to my bank account is getting hard! Just paid a deposit for renting a new flat in July, so got money going in and out from savings etc. to cover that, fortunately I didn't overspend in Sweden!
I've upped payments to my BC to £600 so far this month, and if I stay within budget might be able to pay off another £200. I do need some new tyres for my car though, plus tax at the end of the month and MOT next month... my car savings account should cover most of this but I don't want to be caught short so I'll leave it until after the tyres and tax and see where I am I think.
After this months payments my latest debt total is:
£2472.97
Woo hoo getting there!!Savings target: £25000/£25000

I'm pleased with how I've stuck to my budget this week - withdrew £40 to cover meals and general bits and bobs on Monday, and I've got over £20 to go before the weekend. Lately I've been running low by Friday and just taking out an extra tenner here and there, got to stop!
Hoping that the nice long bank holiday weekend won't mean extra spending for me!Savings target: £25000/£25000
