Terms and Conditions Currys Christmas Wish List

1. Promotion open to residents of the UK. Excluding employees of DSG Retail Ltd and their immediate families, its agents or anyone professionally associated with this promotion.

2. All those under the age of 18 must obtain the permission of their parents / legal guardian in order to enter the promotion and provide personal data. Proof of age and identity may be requested.

3. No Purchase Necessary.

4. To enter: between the 13th October 2011 and 24th December 2011, visit https://www.currys.co.uk/wishlist then create up to four wish lists to be entered into the daily and weekly prize draws.

5. Entrants will have the option to share their wish list/s via email with their friends and family. A bonus entry will be awarded to entrants who share their list/s. Only one bonus entry per wish list shared regardless of the number of people with whom the wish list is shared.

6. Maximum four wish lists per Entrant. No more than four entrants per household; any further attempts to enter will be rejected and not included in the draws. Entrants must use their own email and home address, one email and home address per Entrant.

7. No bulk, third party or organised group entries will be accepted. If it becomes apparent that a participant is using a computer(s) to circumvent this condition by, for example, the use of a ''script'', ''macro'', ‘''brute force'' or any other automated means, that person''s entries will be disqualified and any prize will be void. The Promoter may in its absolute discretion disqualify any entries which it feels do not comply with these terms and conditions or where any bad form or bad faith is suspected.
The Draws:

8. Daily Draws: There will be 72 daily draws from 13th October 2011 until the 24th December 2011.

9. Weekly Draws: There will be 11 Weekly Draws:

Draw 1 (Opening Draw), for all entries received up to midnight on Saturday 15th October 2011.
Draw 2, for all entries received between Sunday 16th October 2011 to midnight on Saturday 22nd October 2011.
Draw 3, for all entries received between Sunday 23rd October 2011 to midnight on Saturday 29th October 2011.
Draw 4, for all entries received between Sunday 30th October 2011 to midnight on Saturday 5th November 2011.
Draw 5, for all entries received between Sunday 6th November 2011 to midnight on Saturday 12th November 2011.
Draw 6, for all entries received between Sunday 13th November 2011 to midnight on Saturday 19th November 2011.
Draw 7, for all entries received between Sunday 20th November 2011 to midnight on Saturday 26th November 2011.
Draw 8, for all entries received between Sunday 27th November 2011 to midnight on Saturday 3rd December 2011.
Draw 9, for all entries received between Sunday 4th December 2011 to midnight on Saturday10th December 2011.
Draw 10, for all entries received between Sunday 11th December 2011 to midnight on Saturday 17th December 2011.
Draw 11, for all entries received between Sunday 18th December 2011 to midnight on Saturday 24th December 2011.


10 The Prizes:

a. For the Daily Draws there is 1 x £1000 Currys/PC World Gift Card to be won each day. Terms and Conditions apply to usage of the Card; see https://www.dixonsretail.com/giftcards for full terms and conditions.
b. For Weekly Draws: One winner each week will receive the Gadget Show wish list worth £10,000 (confirmed value as of 21.09.11). Items in the list are chosen in advance at the sole discretion of the Promoter and its media partner. Wish list items can be found at https://www.currys.co.uk/wishlist.


11. There is a maximum of one prize per household.

12. For Weekly prize winners, delivery dates will be agreed with winners, and where appropriate, fitting of appliances will be provided by the KNOWHOW team (subject to their standard terms) and old, unwanted appliances removed if requested by the winner. Installations apply at point of delivery only.

13. Daily prizes will be dispatched by recorded delivery.

14. No incomplete, corrupt entries or those not in accordance with entry instructions will be accepted.

15. The Promoter does not accept responsibility for entries lost, corrupted or delayed as a result of any network, computer hardware or software failure of any kind. Proof of sending will not be accepted as proof of receipt.

16. The Promoter reserves the right to amend or withdraw the promotion if deemed necessary due to circumstances outside of its control. e.g. force majeure.

17. This promotion is no way sponsored, endorsed or administered by, or associated with Facebook. You are providing your information to DSG Retail Ltd, not Facebook. By entering the promotion all participants agree to a complete liability release for Facebook.

18. Winners will be selected at random from all valid entries received during the relevant draw period.

19. Winners will be notified within 7 days of the draw via email or telephone provided at the time of entry. Winners must reply to allow the completion of the Promoters verification process. If the winner does not respond within 14 days after the initial notification, they will automatically forfeit the prize and it will be awarded to an alternate valid entry.

20. Prizes will be dispatched within 28 days from date the Promoter completes the verification process to the address provided at the time of entry. The Promoter accepts no responsibility for delays by the postal services, for incorrect details being provided by the winner or for any other unforeseen circumstances that may delay delivery.

21. The Promoter shall not be liable for any failure to comply with its obligations where the failure is caused by something outside its reasonable control or any other circumstances amounting to force majeure.

22. There is no cash or other alternative to the stated prizes, in whole or in part. Unless otherwise agreed in writing by the Promoter the prizes will only be awarded directly to the winners. DSG Retail Ltd reserves the right to change or provide a similar alternative prize of the same or greater value or specification should circumstances beyond their control make this necessary. Prizes cannot be exchanged in store.

23. The Promoters decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into.

24. Your name and address will be retained by DSG Retail Ltd and used in accordance with the Data Protection Act 1998. Your personal details may be passed onto third parties unless you opt out to receive further communications. See https://www.currys.co.uk for our privacy policy.

25. Winners may be required to participate in publicity arising from the promotion at no expense to the Promoter.

26. The names and counties of winners may be published on the microsite and promotional emails on a daily or weekly basis throughout the promotional period and will also be available from 4th January to 26th March 2012 by writing to Wish List Currys PC World, 3rd floor, 90 Tottenham Court Road, London, W1T 4TJ.

27. By taking part in this promotion all entrants will be deemed to have accepted and be bound by these terms and conditions.

Its four per person and its saying four people in the house - so im gathering that means (as long as everyone is over 18) 16 entries per household...?

I thought it was four per person per day but I've just tried to enter today after entering yesterday and it says I have entered the maximum number of times so it must only be four times throughout the period of the competition. Unless it's four per week. Or four per 24 hour period rather than per actual day.

Its a weekly competition. You can enter 4 times during the week and a maximum of 4 people per household can enter (so this could be 16 entries in all) It does stress only one email and address per person, so if you dont have 4 people in your household, dont lie!

Its prob best to enter on the Sunday each week, as there is a daily draw out of all entries that week, because its not clear in the T&Cs if its from all entries, or just the weekly ones.
