Energizer aaa batteries only 33p in tesco!

Just nipped in to tesco to buy frozen veg using vouchers and look for the cheap batteries mentioned on here the other day when a guy beside me said you want to buy these....why, are they what i am looking for ....well they are a misprice, only 33p as he cleared the lot but gave me one pack...says it is on hukd, not sure when though! barcode 7 638900 262629....they are called ultimate lithium, use for up to 210 digital photos and use by date 2026......have checked but do not see this posted on here yet so hope somebody else can find them too. Thanks to the mystery battery buyer and the poster on hukd.

2 batteries in pack...sorry forgot to say! The voucherS were the 75p off peas and the £1 off frozen food in tesco leaflet...hope that explains!
  • Thanks but I got loads of batteries when PCWorld were doing their free £5 voucher offer last year so I will give this one a miss.

Energizer High Tech twin pack of size Ds also 33p (and marked up as 33p on the SEL)

    Barcode: 7 638900 246162

Hope this helps someone. Dotdotdot would you mind updating your title to include the D size, save me creating a whole new post?

I posted this in one of the misprice threads yesterday that HighTech C and D are priced and scanning at 33p.

As it wasn't a misprice, and was marked as 33p on the SEL I'm afraid I didn't think to look in there; but thank you. Maybe some stores haven't changed their SEL's then.

Thanks OP. I managed to get 12 packs. There was no SEL, which is usually a good sign, so I bought 1 pack and then bought the other 11.

Got 5 packs in York on Saturday.
Just been to Anal Road, Bradford, found 6 packs hidden behind some other batteries, but they are now scanning at £3.47
