Hi,

Apologlies if this has already been posted elsewhere, but just wanted to give people a heads up about this before it finishes tomorrow. M&S staff have 20% off vouchers (11 each) to give out to friends and family to use this weekend (home, clothing and FOOD!). Previously they were for a single use but this time they can be used as many times as you want one a single day (the cashier dates the voucher and hands it back). In my local store yesterday the cashier was allowing people to pass them back to other people in the queue but this might not happen everywhere!

Some really good (Xmas?) deals to be had if you can get your hands on one of these eg:

Huge 1kg tin of Belgian Chocolate biscuits, previously £13.99, now £6.99, then £5.59 with the voucher.

Boxes of chocs (caramel, meringue, choc brazils, choc orange etc) £2.99 each, on offer at 2 for £5.00, then £4.00 with the voucher.

Boxes of 3 walnut whip type chocs, on offer at 2 boxes for £2.00, making it £1.60 with the voucher.

Wine, get 10% off when buying 6 bottles, then get the 20% off too! :j

Hope some of you can spot someone with a voucher-maybe nab them after checkout and ask to borrow it if you feel cheeky, or if you know someone who works for M&S give them a ring and turn on the charm (they get an extra 10% on top of their usual 20% off so if you can persuade them to buy you a 'gift' and give them the money back later, then even better)! :D

  • I saved a nice bit too... thanks to one of the lovely Mummies at my school who works at M&S and gave me a family and friends voucher.

I had 2x roast meal deal for £5 - the chickens were priced up at £6.57 and £6.63 alone... and 20% off -£4 per deal - bargain!!

I also bought the 1kg Belgian Biscuit tin which was half price at £6.99, and with the 20% off - £5.59 (approx).

Kids fed tonight... in laws fed tomorrow and two Christmas Pressies checked off the list! Fabulous stuff!!

The small print on the back of the voucher says it is valid for 1 transaction, whereas in the past they have been valid all weekend, so I suppose it depends on the SA if you get to keep the voucher or not.

It does say one transaction but In H/END store they are allowing the use of multiple transactions in one day. (They write the date on it)
  • Hi again,

Just to confirm it does state one transaction on the back and has been that way in the past but the terms changed since going to print and the staff SHOULD date it and give it back to you for multiple uses the same day. Definitely query it if they try to keep it.

  • It's really not fair to ask a member of staff to let you use their discount. It's a disciplinary matter if you pay them back later. - would you want them to lose their job? Please don't embarrass them by asking!
