I've left out my catalogue on the doorstep in the past.
No one came to collect it. It stayed there and became very soggy.
They go straight into the recycling bin these days.As of 24/11/2020

If you want to be annoying why don't you just fill out the order form with loads of items and then don't answer/refuse to pay when they attempt delivery. The more you order the more they'll need to pay up front for the items, and the more returns they'll have to arrange in order to get a refund. Will cost Kleeneze themselves a fair bit as well.B.A - Shut up fool!0

It is if you if you dont want it at your door and the distributor ignores your notice you put up.
Doorstep selling/telesales especially are annoying I filter telesales calls sadly I cant filter doorstep sales although I dont have a solution
Bin for catalogues/junk mail or log burner
Door shut with words "no thank you"

It is far better than having adverts rammed down your throat, be it tv/radio/internet/billboards/side of a bus etc. And certainly better than door 2 door/telesales. Just consider how unintrusive they really are next time you choose to put a catalogue in the bin, and whose business you are ruining by not giving it back!0 -

I done that many times in my experience most give up and hence cant be bothered to come back. When you come after them telling them "sorry I am not interested" they look at you as if you are some sort of alien. Believe or not there are many people who and not interested 100%0 -

Hope this is more of your humour? Aren't we on here to help each other SAVE money and/or INCREASE income?
I hate the wretched things, but I'm not going to plunge someone further into debt, the fact they are doing it in the first place suggests they may already have money troubles.

Bit of an assumption on your part why you believe they do it. Lots of us work doesnt mean we are in debt if I was I work more hours or find another part time job, I wouldn't sell the crap they sell at least some of us have morals rather than rip people off with over priced tat.Hope this is more of your humour? I said "they may already have money troubles". Regardless of the reason they are selling it I believe people deserve to be treated with dignity and respect, like you'd want to be treated.
Some of the suggestions like throwing the catalogue at them, or doing things that would end up costing them money seem incongruous with the purpose of this site.
I should remind you, I hate the things too, so we are kinda on the same side. I don't want their junk on my doorstep, nor do I want to have to diarise putting it outside so it isn't on my doorstep.December 2005 TOTAL DEBT at its worst - [STRIKE]£20,596[/STRIKE]

I try to catch them putting it through the letter box,so i can throw it back at em.
We had a name for that when we did Kleeneze - "slap out", you turn around and as you are walking up the path you hear the door go and "slap" as the brochure comes out. Thats great cos it means we don't waste either that person or our time.
With our current company we use an opt out slip with the brochure or knock and introduce ourselves. In over a year we haven't had one slap out which makes a refreshing change from our previous experience
DebbieWe love what we are doing and we love why we're doing it!!0
