Help!!

I've just found a wad of Love2Shop vouchers (about £200's worth) but I've had them stashed in an envelope in a box in my spare room for the last 4 years since getting them from work.

There's no expiry date on them but the website says they are only valid for 18 months from issue. Can I use them, do I have any recourse or is this just a valuable lesson in timely management of vouchers received?

Are you sure about the dates ?

    I've got 4 x £5 vouchers. There are 3 different designs.

They came from at least 3 different places over the last 2, maybe 3, years.

They ALL have expiry dates - sadly one is out of date :(

The newest pair (expiring 31/9/12 and 31/3/13) has the date on the front, "middle top right" between the Love2shop logo and the £5 value in the top right-hand corner.

The other 2 both have the expiry dates (31/03/11 :( & 31/03/12) on the reverse, where the barcode and T&Cs etc. are, and they are in the bottom right-hand corner - on the "counterfoil" bit

(all my vouchers have a perforation at about the 25%/75% point that allows it to be separated into 2 bits)

The expiry date text is NOT microscopic such that you need a magnifying glass to see it :D

New vouchers have expiry dates on them - only know this cos I did park savings club last year. There is a high street voucher website.. but its currently unavailable?!
  • Have you tried contacting them?

    0845 601 4807 - there's no alternative number on SayNoTo0870.com by the way.

Or try 01323 848 686 which I mananged to find searching Google. Please report back if this number gets you through to Love2Shop.
  • Thanks all. I will give them a call tomorrow morning seeing as its Sunday.

Quoia - They don't have expiry dates on them. Obviously if they did I wouldn't have posted! As the vouchers are at least 4 years old I assume they have changed this now. They do have issue numbers but otherwise no other information.

I'll let you know how I get on...
  • Thanks all for the advice. I have spoken to Love2Shop today on the number on the back of the voucher.

I have the old style vouchers (no longer issued) which many retailers will now not accept. So they have agreed for me to send them my old vouchers and they will exchange them for the up to date ones.

    Result!

    hi couponer

please don't start up a disagreement again
we don't want the thread closed again, it may not be your intension but posts like that are what start things off unfortunately

    stuff referred to by BT
is non coupon related posted, like freebies, coupon altering posts and such like

just to add re: you post to CBC being nice works both ways. new poster and both your posts not overly friendly either.

PLEASE ALL PLAY NICE FOR THE SAKE OF THE THREAD AT LEAST
