Rachel Allen's pudding recipe

Options
I am just watching Rachel Allen on BBC one and wondered if anyone copied down the recipe for the banana butterscotch pudding. I have looked on the website and it isn't there.

Thanks

  • its in her current book, which I think is why it isn't on the website !

in the book she says it came from an Australian chef, Bill Grainger, and she got it from him when he appeared with her on the UKTVFood show Good Food Live. It might be on their website?

It's probably similar to Bill Grainger's. Clicky Here

If I were you though I'd give it a miss. I tried making it and it was insanely sweet. Far too sugary for my liking!

EDIT: Thriftylady beating me to it :p

I loved the bill granger one. you do need some ice cream or cream or something (vanilla ice cream is fantastic) to go with it as it is v v sweet

I also like it cos it's a bit of a storecupboard pud ie I tend to have everything in and don't have to do any special shopping (except the ice cream)

It reminded me of the Nigella pudding where she pours hot coffee or sugary stuff over. People on this board rave about it but I've not made it (yet!)
