Hi all,

Just wanted to update.

(back story... May 2010 our business became unsustainable - we either went bankrupt or took the £30,000 debt hit ourselves. Weighed it up and we chose the latter).

We were doing magnificently thanks to savings, my husband working incredibly hard, the generosity of all our friends and family, some very very good MSE advice, your support and the goodness of God!

Then in Mar my husband was made redundant and the debt repaying slowed right down (I was on maternity leave too which doesn't help) Anyway, he got another job, I returned to work, and this month we finally paid off the last credit card. Hurrah hurrah hurrah! Only one loan left and that's a £5100 0% to a family member - debt free day now Sept 2013, if not before!

So huge thanks to you all, keep going, it can happen!

Just wanted to say a massive Well Done Claire, thats an enormous amount of money to have paid off in that space of time!! Gives people like me motivation to see that it actually can be done!
