(don't bring it up again three years later when you've been proven horribly wrong) - note, if you don't want to look at HPC then DO NOT click the link:

Well you just did, didn't you? What's your point exactly?0 -

I assume the point is, he can't live without his daily dose of HPC0 -
Great thread. A three year old post from a website populated by nutters and racists.
You were, I assume at least, banned from their website. It's probably time to let it go.0 -
I usually just delete mine. Unless its a pm then too late.0

I used to read HPC but never felt like joining and posting. I vowed I would not give it another hit once it became totally onesided, many of the posts were in my view racist and a large proportion seemed to be benefits claimants who seemed to think the world owed them more of a living than the one they were getting for zero effort.
Why bother helping that site by linking to it and giving it hits?0 -

I think the penny dropped when they banned anyone who said house prices would not drop.
Like you say this website is full of losers not clever business men.
I expect half of them got arrested in the riots anyway and won't be able to get on line for a year.We love Sarah O Grady0 -

Much as I dislike the site I do not recognise your description. There are some very articulate and clever people on the site - they appear to be misguided and driven by self interest but that's another matter.
I believe it is right to show how attitudes displayed in the past, and posts which forecast House Price Armageddon, deserve to be highlighted to demonstrate that their "We'll be picking up these properties for a song" suggestions never came to fruition. Not exactly sure how house prices are doing in Edinburgh 3 years after the initial post but they certainly aren't much less than they were then and the rental market seems to be positively booming up there.0 -

Why not share this joyous news with the people who this is targeted at? It seems a shame for them to miss out.0 -
The issue with HPC is that a HPC actually happened (well 25% in the North). Hence all the good postered !!!!!!ed off leaving only foaming at the mouth Hamish types.
Shame, it was a great forum.0
