Really hacked off with my Avon rep!

Just need to vent. I returned a product that was 13 pounds 3 weeks ago and still have not a refund. I'm not sure where she lives but today found an old slip with her number on and text this 'Hi Leonie this is noodles at ******. I was wondering how much longer I will have to wait for my 13 pounds refund as it has now been 3 weeks' and this was the reply I got 'Well I've had trouble with the refunds. As soon as the money is back in the account you will have it' and to say Im pretty annoyed! 13 pounds is a lot of money to me. I must admit in my anger I havn't text her back but I have phoned the number on the back of the order slip saying what happened and the area manager should be phoning me back. I really feel like texting her that it's really not good enough etc but it probably isn't going to get me any where - phew any breathe!!! :rotfl:

    Sorry forgot to add, I asked for the refund 2 days after her last delivery and Monday 21st was her next delivery and have seen her out and about delivering orders, so I know she has money from Avon stuff!

    as far as i know (someone will correct me if im wrong :) ) she should refund you straight away, then she should claim for a credit on her account then send the item back. As avon will credit her account, she will have to pay less for her next order so the money that she will have from other customers will be used to refund you or her own pocket it doesnt matter.

    i can understand your frustration, i dont know why she's stalling you like this!

    Thank you for making me feel that I'm not just being petty. Best of it is is that I only gave up Avon about 9 months ago so know how it works, which she knows! Do you think I should tell her I've contacted Avon as it's not good enough?

    umm, id contact her saying ive contacted Avon and they've advised me that you should have refunded me straight away (or within a couple of days) and say that your dissapointed that its taking so long and would like the refund your entitled to in the next few days. Or i have no option to contact the area manager.

    does that sound a little harsh? I have no patience for things like this im afraid sorry! There's no reason for her not to be able to refund you, especially as she's delivering orders!

    i think maybe she's hoping if she stalls you long enough you'll forget! and she'll get off with your product and your money!

    This isnt anything against avon, im a rep myself but i know how some people work and thats how its sounding here!

    I really want to send her a text back but I don't think it would do me any good as even though she has been delivering this week, she clearly had no intention of refunding me, will wait for the area manager to call me back.

    Do hope the area manager sorts this out immediately for you noodles. I'm an avon rep & I would offer the refund straight away. Gives the rest of us a bad name and puts customers like you in a stressful situation. Keep us posted and good luck.
