Have been a lurker on this board for about two months now and come on almost everyday and read this particular thread about everyone's struggles with the dreaded DEBT! You have given me the kick up the jacksey I needed to sort my debts out. I drew up my own DMP today and posted at least 15 letters to the various people I owe money too explaining my situation and offering some kind of repayment and I gotta say I feel like a weight has been lifted, well at least until I start getting replies. Hopefully I will be debt free by the end of this year. Thankyou all again.x

Welcome to the board, and well done on taking the first steps to become debt free. Hope you get some positive replies to your letters and can start working on the debt realistically.
Don't forget you can always get some great advice from the folks on here. It sometimes seems like hard work but it can be done.
