Terms and Conditions

Real Time – Kärcher Competition – [30/06/2011] – [30/09/2011]

1. By entering this competition, the entrant will be deemed to have read and understood these rules and to have agreed to be bound by them.

2. The competition is open to UK residents excluding employees of Promoter and their families, the Promoter's agents or anyone professionally associated with the promotion. Only one entry per person.

3. Entrants expressly declare and represent that (i) they submit to English law and jurisdiction in participating in this competition and (ii) they are individuals and not a company or any professional and/or commercial entity.

4. The competition will run from [30/06/2011] to [30/09/2011]. The closing time and date for receipt of entries is midnight on [30/09/2011].

5. By entering, the winner/s agree to participate in any publicity or promotional activities as may be reasonably required by the Promoter. Further the Promoter reserves the right to use the names of winners in any publicity.

6. There are two [2] prizes that consist of a first prize Kärcher K 5.700 T300 pressure washer and a second prize Kärcher WD 5.200 MP versatile multi-purpose vac.

7. The draw will take place on 1st October [01/10/2011]. The winner will be contacted by post, telephone or email within 28 days of the draw. The winner must claim their prize within 10 days of the notification. If the prize is unclaimed after this time, it will lapse and the Promoter reserves the right to offer the unclaimed prize to a substitute winner selected in accordance with these terms and conditions. The prize will be delivered by Kärcher to a UK address.

8. The Promoter reserves the right to terminate or modify the competition, modify these terms and conditions prior to the closing date, vary details of the prize, or substitute a prize of equivalent value should unforeseen circumstances require it. The Promoter is entitled to terminate or modify the competition or to modify these rules prior to the closing date by prior notice.

9. The prize is non-exchangeable, non-transferable and non-refundable and there is no cash alternative in whole or in part. The prize is subject to availability and in the event of circumstances outside of its control the promoter reserves the right to substitute a similar or alternative prize of equal or greater value. The prize must be taken by the winner unless agreed otherwise in writing by the Promoter.

10. The prize will be awarded to the first entry drawn at random from all valid entrants who have answered the question correctly. The second prize will be awarded to the second correct entry drawn at random from all valid entrants who have answered the question correctly. The decision of the judge will be final and no correspondence will be entered into.

11. Entries that are incomplete or late or those not in accordance with all the entry instructions are invalid. All submitted entries are the property of the Promoter and will not be returned.

12. No purchase is necessary to enter the competition.

13. By entering the free prize draw all participants will be deemed to have accepted and be bound by the rules and consent to the transfer of their personal data to the Data Controller (as defined in the Data Protection Act 1998) for the purposes of the administration of this promotion and any other purposes to which the entrant has consented. Please see Promoter’s privacy policy for further details. All entry instructions form part of the rules.

14. The Promoter cannot accept any responsibility for any damage, loss, injury or disappointment suffered by any participant entering the competition or as a result of accepting any prize. The Promoter is not responsible for any problems or technical malfunction of any computer on-line systems, servers, or providers, computer equipment or software, failure of any email or entry to be received on account of technical problems or traffic congestion on the internet, or at any website, including any injury to or resulting from participation or downloading any materials in the competition. Nothing shall exclude the Promoter’s liability for death or personal injury as a result of its negligence.

Hi MimiJane - I use Chrome as my browser of choice, but have IE8 and Safari on my home computer for times like this!
Perhaps try with another browser? I know FF is great for comping too
