CCJ's/Bankruptcy

I've just started a DMP through Payplan but may have to go BR as my circumstances may be changing.
If I do, I will need to save up the BR fees. So if I stop paying my DMP, and my creditors issue CCJ's against me, can I still go BR at that point?
How soon can creditors issue CCJ's, and if I have one pending, or a court date set, can I still go BR?
I'm hoping I can hold them off until I can save the fees up.
Many thanks

Yes.How soon can creditors issue CCJ's, and if I have one pending, or a court date set, can I still go BR?
Reasonably quickly.
Most of the time it takes a looooooong while.
Creditors are more likely to just sell the debt on rather than going for a CCJ.
