Fantastic Volunteer Opportunity (Glasgow)

Anybody serious about seeking employment who have been unsuccessful or unemployed for any length of time understands that gaps on employment are hard to explain.

I recently had to leave this Volunteer opportunity (The Forgotten Island) and feel quite bad about doing so. The staff are just top notch (you won't find a better bunch), what you do is very rewarding. It is working with kids mostly, but the engaging adults and quality staff just make it so rewarding.


I'm sure anytime you can give - even just an afternoon would be appreciated. I just feel so bad having to leave

*Sending an email with details is what they require even if you phone.

I wish there did exist a 'Review your Volunteer Work' website but im afraid there is not. But I can not recommend this opportunity enough. I have been volunteering since it opened and I've never had so much fun
