I'm so sad.. lol..

Dh has just called and told me that he's got me a new 2007 page-a-day diary for £1!! Sounds sad but I'm so excited because I'm obsessive about writing everything down and I can't wait for him to get home so I can put everything in it and start planning the months!!!! lol!!!!
Obsessive?? Moi???

Obsessive? - Well maybe - but in a positive way.
I am NOT, nor do I profess to be, a Qualified Debt Adviser. I have made MANY mistakes and have OFTEN been the unwitting victim of the the shamefull tactics of the Financial Industry.
If any of my experiences, or the knowledge that I have gained from those experiences, can help anyone who finds themselves in similar circumstances, then my experiences have not been in vain.

lol.. every little helps though! I think psychologically I prefer saving up all the money and paying them off in one go because then they can't slap stupid daily interest on the little bits and bobs I'm paying.. lol
In my mind it makes sense anyway

  • not sad at all - it's lovely writing everything down and crossing out targets and goals as they're achieved. I'm completely obsessive about "the purple book" (my 2006 written record) - it's a real hobby of mine - that said, I quite like transferring some of the info onto excel and doing some graphs of various expenditure variables as well - looking at monthly expenditure over the past 12 months for food or travel costs and analysing why there are peaks and troughs - I find it such a moral booster when I've got an expenditure graph with a nice downward line and a savings graph with an upward one.
It also gives me a boost on the odd occasion I have the urge to go over budget, as I couldn't bear to spoil the graph lines with a "peak or trough" due to extravagance.
    Enjoy!
  • I went Sale shopping yesterday - (the money for me was Xmas money not spent) I did buy me and darling BF Birthday presents for out girls for 2007. Me thinks he thinks I'm mad that I think a head :-)

I did get a diary half price at Boots - which i have written my reslutions in
