Oh dear I discovered another debt - to the FSB for £120, I was surprised when they said that my membership had been renewed because I had previously been advised by the business bank that all my direct debits and standing orders had been cancelled. As I need the membership (I use the legal helpline and still have my business although dormant), I have renewed.

I have had my hair done but couldnt remember the name of the girl who did it before, I could swear her name was Jess but apparently it wasnt but I did have my hair done by Jess today and it cost me £24 for a cut, colour, and blowdry.

I have packed another box - this time with ski jackets etc.

I really must go to the post office to sort out post redirection and tax my car (this can be a job for tomorrow).

I have just come back to the computer after my lunch break - a basic lunch really (I nuked some baguettes from the freezer which I had already pre-cut for pizzas) smeared them with clover and cut up the remaining cooked chicken breast from last night, I served it with my remaining tomatoes which were fresh from the vine and bought at the local farm shop on Saturday. I fancied a mini ice lolly and ate one from the freezer, I liked it so much I had another and followed that with a strawberry yoghurt that was out of date (eat by 14 June) - it smelt ok and tasted ok.

I have been clearing off the table and have now dismantled it although I cannot now get it into its carry bag (it is my old camping table), the room looks strange without it but I must remember to pack a few more things away before I can sit on the sofa.

Things are slowly coming together...still havent found my registration document though and have no idea where it went which is most frustrating. I know that I wouldnt have chucked it.

I had a call this afternoon about the job I went for, well, I have been invited in for a work trial on Tuesday & Wednesday of next week working from 10am til 5pm (I will need to take a packed lunch as I know there aren't any shops nearby unless you count the motorway services). I am being thrown in at the deep end to see how I will cope - I will be brilliant because I used to be a temp and every day was different and I was always chucked in at the deep end. They are trialling someone else later in the week but I am going to do my best to get the job because I know I am the best:D

I guess I had better find something to wear - something that I havent packed yet.

What is good about the work trial is that they have said they will pay my petrol costs to get there and maybe a bit extra which is most unusual for work trials.

In other news - yet more spends but a necessary cost, I have set up my postal redirect for 12 months, I have selected personal as all my business post is addressed to me anyway. The redirect will start on 28 June.

I shall have a spendy day tomorrow too as I need milk (could only get 2 pints on Sunday).

I am slowly getting my affairs in order including the packing plus I have now managed to fit the camping table into its bag and zipped it. It has served me well. One thing I will need to do is get my furniture from ex hubby's house (I am hoping that he will pay:rotfl:).

I think I will celebrate my wedding anniversary with a freezer treat - yes, it was 25 years' ago today that I stupidly tied the knot and I lived to regret it ever since. At least my old self is returning thus undoing the damage of the past.

Meh - the weather is awful and I feel tireder than a tired thing. I was in bed at 10pm last night and slept through til 8.45am yet I still feel tired.

I have packed a crate with glassware and now I am starting on a second one (it will have soft fluffy things placed on the bottom and then glassware and all topped off with more clothing. I made a discovery today which will mean a call to mum tonight to ask if it would be possible for me to have a new washing machine. The rubber has worn down on this machine to the point where it is starting to leak and despite having the pump flushed out it is full of grit (must be from the Tatco non bio powder).

I am having more breaks as I do sorting and packing. Still havent found my registration document which is now driving me nuts, I know I would not have chucked it out - all I have is the tearoff bit for a motor trader to get the document changed. The blue reg document got shredded when the new one arrived.

I am trying to eat from the freezer to reduce the amount of food in there, I still need milk.

Just washed all my antique ceramic jugs and a whole load of glassware including the ring tree that belonged to my grandma which she received on her 21st birthday and so I received on mine. I intend to pass this onto her great grandchild who is called Alice when she reaches the age of 21 (Alice is 1 at the moment).:D

    What a lovely tradition!
Good luck with the work trial and the move.

have you thought of writing to the ba88a88 who duped you over the logo to claim back the money he's had? I guess you're just glad to be rid of the hassle! I don't imagine he's tried to get any more out of you since you called his bluff. Or have you reported him to trading standards?

I included the request for a refund in the breach of contract letter but he hasnt acknowledged it nor contacted me since. I have reported him to istock though:rotfl: I am glad to be rid of him and although £25 is a lot of money (I was forced to make token payments as I am on benefits) to lose, it is far better than wasting more money in trying to get it back. None of my business contacts will touch him with a bargepole now and I have quite a few connections:D

I have just spoken to mum - she is not in a good mood after having fun and games with dad today, she bit my head off when I asked if I could please have a new washing machine after all as the rubber has worn almost completely away on mine and that I doubted it would last much longer. She went to the house to measure up and she is most upset at the state of it - the vendors have been there for sure because the central heating was whacked up to high (mum turned it off), the place was filthy and had giant cobwebs everywhere, some idiot has tracked mud and oil through the hall (the hall is carpetted) and the gardens front and back are so overgrown tigers have probably moved in:mad: The lying barstewards had repeatedly told their solicitor who told our solicitor that the house has been cleared yet it was still full of furniture. On seeing the furniture mum then offered £35 for the sideboard and when the vendors were asked the question they immediately came back and said a house clearance firm were going to clear it but they didnt know when. Mum told me that if the house had been in the state that it is now then she would never have bothered making an offer in the first place. It really is quite sad because the vendors don't care - all they care about is getting their paws on the money.

Dad got frustrated with his blue badge clock although why he was messing with it I have no idea because mum has to do it for him. When they went to the supermarket (he always stays in the car) she suddenly spotted him in the store and he picked up a load of spanners and insisted mum bought them thus forcing mum to pay with her visa card instead of with cash as she only had enough cash for their food. Lordy knows why he bought spanners as he has hundreds of them in the garage. He then wandered off and mum thought he had gone back to the car but he hadnt he was wandering about the shop looking for the exit. Then when they got out of the shop and loaded the car he insisted on taking the trolley back but then couldnt understand why it would not fit in with the large ones - in the end mum had to show him that it was a small trolley and went down a different aisle in the trolley store. He never goes in the shops normally and will always wait outside.
