I had to renew DS' this year from one 5 year to another 5 year, and def had to pay - am not aware of there being any way of getting them free.....they are just cheaper than an adult 10 year one.Successful women can still have their feet on the ground. There are rumours on a lot of mse threads that renewals are free but I had to pay to do my youngests earlier this year.

I did some googling of it too last night and it seems there are lots of rumours of freebie passports but none actually to be had anywhere
Never mind, its within the £1k target so not a worry.

We've had a lovely day at the park, ds met his old friend and they played together for 4.5hrs while his mum and I chatted, the sun was gorgeous and it was a really lovely day
I've just dropped him off to go to his dads and am now having some sofa time, my lack of sleep last night is catching up with me. I don't have much planned for while he's away, other than getting up to date with the flat and general chores ready to go back to school on monday.
