well at least a 5 year one which then gets renewed for free because of them growing up and needing a new passport photo

How do I get it renewed for free?? :) He already has a 5 yr one but it runs out soon, thought I had to pay £49 for it to be renewed?

I had to renew DS' this year from one 5 year to another 5 year, and def had to pay - am not aware of there being any way of getting them free.....they are just cheaper than an adult 10 year one.

I did some googling of it too last night and it seems there are lots of rumours of freebie passports but none actually to be had anywhere :o Never mind, its within the £1k target so not a worry.

Dangers - we don't go til mid August next year (I wanted to see the Olympics before we went ;)), but I am sooo stupidly excited :D I'm going to cut up my old Next directory tonight and stick loads of pics of bikinis all over the fridge and biscuit cupboard :rotfl:

So, last night I made the mistake of drinking a large glass of Pepsi before bed, and at 3 this morning was still wide awake :( Now clearly though I am knackered :o Never mind, off to meet ds friend in a couple of hours then I can crach once he's gone to his dads later.

We've had a lovely day at the park, ds met his old friend and they played together for 4.5hrs while his mum and I chatted, the sun was gorgeous and it was a really lovely day :)

I've just dropped him off to go to his dads and am now having some sofa time, my lack of sleep last night is catching up with me. I don't have much planned for while he's away, other than getting up to date with the flat and general chores ready to go back to school on monday. Oh, and trying to kickstart the holiday fund :D
