Hey thanks everyone, we got back last night!! In work now having a tea break, missing the lifestyle already!! Sleeping late, full english for brunch...... Ahhhh holiday!

We didnt relax all week, we did some fell running at Holyhead Mountain and then another day there was this even bigerer mountainy thing, Snowdon!!! Im still in pain, we got up it in 2hrs 15 and ran, yes ran down it in 1 hr 15!!

On the money side of things we did spend more than we planned but it's a once a year treat to be away together alone. And, we used the one rainy morning to compile spreadsheets and play with formulas and percentages and we worked out that we can be debt free (apart from the £30k D owes his brother) by the end of 2014!!

    Impressive- MSE on holiday!

Fell running is a sport I used to do as a kid. Used to compete in races in Lakes and Yorkshire Dales. You must be super fit Max to do that. Well done, sounds like you had loads of fun.

We're looking at not entirely dissimilar amounts and I'd love to see the back of this debt in 3 years, the loan is due to run for another 5 years so to pay it off early would be amazing. Maybe then number 2 wouldn't have to stay in a room the size of a postage stamp. :D
    Starting my journey July 2011. Loan £15,683.94 [STRIKE]£17,681.33 [/STRIKE]/ OD1 £3800 / OD2 £0 [STRIKE]£1000 [/STRIKE]/ CC1 £193.34 [STRIKE]£2717.50 [/STRIKE]/ CC2 £362.98 [STRIKE]£462.98 [/STRIKE]/ Car £0.00[STRIKE]£1217.56[/STRIKE] /Next £0.00 [STRIKE]£339.17 [/STRIKE]Total £20,236.62 [STRIKE]£27,337.76[/STRIKE]
For most people the definition of never-ending is 'eternal', in my world it's 'housework'...

:T Ive done my first 2 week meal plan in an attempt to save money on food, I spent £80 in Adsa last night which covers my meal plan! Of course ill have to top up the stores with bread/fresh food but im looking forward to seeing if it works.

This morning I put the slow cooker on, whole chicken and tonnes of veg! It will be so nice not having to stand in front of the cooker for an age, starving and picking at whatever is available before being able to eat a meal. Then the leftovers will form my amazing home made chicken and sweetcorn soup, nom nom! If theres any veg left over i will freeze it and it will go towards a a big veggie soup/stew.

    Good eh??? :D

Were lucky that some of our childcare this summer break is covered by family. DS3 is still in nursery so hes cared for, DS1 is still at his Grandmas (miss him) and DS 2 is currently bugging the crap out of D as he has a week off work!! I bet he cant wait for next week when Granny no2 is enlisted to look after him and he can scoot off to work :rotfl:.

Weirdly im looking forward to getting the 5 of us back together and school starting again, i like our routine!

Theres only this week and 2 more til were off on our holls again, the whole family this time! Back to Rhosneigr, another week of free accomodation:money::j.

Yesterday i spent a grand total of £00.00 :T a lovely no spend day.
