Be quick! Ends 16th August.
What you need to do is order a £250 Visa Electron Cash Passport in £ sterling. They'll charge you £5 service charge. The card arrives a day or so later, you activate it with a freephone telephone call to a machine, you can then immediately withdraw the £250 and put it back in your bank a/c.
Probably the cheapest & easiest way to earn 150 Airmiles I've ever come across
:D:D:D:D
(Thanks to Imposter for the heads up on the Yali thread!)
A handy and safe currency card, the Airmiles Cash Passport™ can be used anywhere that accepts Visa Electron, including shops, restaurants and cashpoints.
Double miles on currency – until 16 August 2011
Get double miles when you load £250 or more in one transaction on a new Airmiles Cash Passport, or reload on an existing Cash Passport before 16 August 2011 - that's up to 2 miles for every £9 loaded.
And get 100 bonus miles
We'll also give you 100 Airmiles the first time* you load £250 or more on an Airmiles Cash Passport before 16 August 2011.

Note that you can reload your card if you like (although there is a reload limit for the double miles - I can find it if you want to know). If you reload with £250 you'll get 55 miles (no bonus second time round) which comes out at 11p per mile. Still cheaper than buying miles but I prefer to obtain my miles for less than 10p per mileElite 5:2 #54 12/13 lbs (18 Jan) 1st Target :j0

It seems you could load £5000 maximum http://www.airmiles.co.uk/collect/travelex/travelex-cash-passport/FAQ?from=travelexpartnerpage
Which - if it were your first time - would give you 1211 Airmiles.
It would cost you £100 in service charge.
But that's really not too bad at all for 1211 Airmiles, which is nearly enough for a return European flight (1500 miles).0 -

There is a £1500 limit in 60 days for reloading online - read this on FlyerTalk. The £5000 refers to bank transfers apparently.Elite 5:2 #54 12/13 lbs (18 Jan) 1st Target :j0 -
