Ebay prices are pretty good if you can happen to find the number you're looking for

be a bit careful if you want to change the plates back to the original as a mate sorned his car before he asked to change the plates back to the original to transfer to his new car and now dvlc want him to take the car to be inspected befopre they will issue a new number, but he cannot as it is sorned! They then asked him to hire a truck and take it to them!
Or they will come to him for a fee.
