I can't get sick days

I'm working during 10 years in some company and I can't get my sick days when I want. Do they cut my rights or ... what?

Could you rephrase that so that it makes sense to the English speaking members of the forum?

You get 'sick days' when you are sick, not when you want! If you are ill you usually phone your company and advise them that you won't be in as you are ill. If you are not sick, you don't get 'sick days'.

you normally get "Duvet Days" by phoning in and putting on a croaky voice and muttering something about a "24hr bug going around".

Not by asking for them in advance :)

Google "reasons for phoning in sick" and try a few. Try them every Monday and friday, that way you can have a long weekend :)

the day before I wanted a sick day I would
-not wash my hands after going to the loo
    - eat prawns which has been left out in the sun

    Hope that helps!
