Just a word of warning for anyone using RE. I've had an ongoing problem with a pub assignment that I did. It was spend up to £5 (drinks only) and the fee was £5. However despite having all the details, they have told me that they will not be paying because they do not have any record of the assignment. The assignment was pending payment for a few weeks and then taken off, no explanation and now they have implied it didn't exist and dismiss everything I say.
Is there anything else I can do? It's only £10, I just don't know whether it's worth persuing anymore. I certainly won't be doing any more assignments now.

I did a few pub assignments for them, but have to admit I never had any problems. Did you download any of the paperwork and keep any printed records from them? Also the drinks receipt?
To be honest, it's probably not worth pursuing for £10....put it down to experience.
And think of it this way - I did a mystery shop today for a miserly £10, paid my £1 parking fee.....and came back to find a £40 parking ticket on my windscreen cos I'd accidently parked one bay too far along. A £31 loss...not happy!

Thanks for your reply...sorry to hear about your ticket. I have the paper work (which I sent to them the same evening as I carried out the assignment), however I do not have a receipt as this wasn't specified in the assignment.

I've never had a problem, but then I use them more as a stop off when I want to go out for a meal when I'm on a day out rather than as a regular income, as there just aren't many assignments round here. I noticed that a couple of assignments have taken a prolonged time to clear since the site changed, I'd send one last letter pointing out that there has never before been a problem, and if they don't pay up then don't bother with them again.Debt £5600 all 0%0
