He says it's been ages since I last had a 'proper' win despite all my positive thinking/mental attitude blah! blah!! blah!!!

He said he was laughing today when he saw a delivery van as he remembered the time when the van stopped at ours daily

I told him that a big win is due me but inwardly, I kinda agree with him. I've never had it so bad prize-wise

I've got to show him now, haven't I?

I'm finding the same.

I used to win lots of competitions but this year winning very few. This year I've won shoes (gave to daughter), £100 Asda card, £50 Post Office card, and bits and pieces, but little else.

The postman used to be always knocking at the door and I used to win toys and goodies for the grandchildren, which I used to save for Christmas. There were so many things through the years.

It seems that these days so many people enter competitions the odds of winning are becoming longer.

I enter competitions which need captions, more effort, tie-breakers when I find them, hoping for a win.

my luck has dried up this year to, had a few small wins and to be honest my only big win was in 2009 and that was a break to disneyland paris, sending you luck as Its always nice to see fellow compers winning

i have just started comping in january and am happy with my little wins before i get the big one! theres nothing like a delivery van pulling up outside your house........ I always thought that the big prizes were never won and competitions were just advertised but never won before i discovered MSE comps. I love to hear of some big prizes being won and know I will win big some time!!! I am starting to get addicted to comping and wont let my other half near the computer and on fb and twitter you see lots of people you recognise and they were all at that comp before me so makes me think I am not alone !!!
