Garden care company Bayer Garden is giving away a pack of Green Cleaner to 100 people who email pictures of their garden clean up challenge to [EMAIL="marketing@bayergarden.co.uk"]marketing@bayergarden.co.uk[/EMAIL]. A selection of the winning images will be posted on the company’s blog, www.bayergardenblog.co.uk.

The winners will be selected on 12 May.

“We all know the feeling at this time of year; with spring just around the corner we want to get our gardens ready so that we can enjoy them as soon as the weather picks up,” said Bayer Garden product manager, Laura Varey. “But I’m sure I’m not alone in being daunted by the moss and algae that has made its home on the decking and patio. Scrubbing it is not an appealing prospect so, by way of a little helping hand, we are going to give away a pack of Green Cleaner to 100 people who email us a picture of the challenge they face. We’d love to see the after-shots as well!”

Originally developed for the war grave commission to clean gravestones, Bayer Garden’s Green Cleaner is highly effective at removing algae, lichen, moss and mould, from garden patios and other surfaces without any fuss. What’s more, it does not contain any damaging solvents, bleach or acid.

Each pack of Green Cleaner contains 4 sachets of biodegradable concentrate, which when combined, covers an area of 100 square metres. There is no need to handle chemicals as each sachet is water soluble so it just has to be dropped into a watering can and stirred.

The giveaway is open to residents of the United Kingdom and Eire, who are aged 18 or over, excluding Bayer Garden employees and their immediate families, the company’s agents or anyone else professionally connected with the promotion.
